Bashbaria Sea Beach & Kerfa Garden, Chittagong

Bashbaria is one of the best beach areas, which has a long sandy beach, Kerfa tree gardens, a ferry terminal, and other beautiful spots. In today's post, I'll highlight the beach's charm alongside the beauty of the Kerfa trees. This is one of the most remarkable beaches I've shared in my posts so far.
This beach area is located at the very end of the road, approximately 2 kilometers west of the main road in Bashbaria, Chattogram. Tourists can reach it from the city by their vehicles or public transportation. Since it's in a rural area, there are no specific visiting hours for the beach; you can come here any time, any day, 24 hours a day.

First, I'll share the Kerfa garden with you. After reaching Bashbaria beach, if you walk a little south, you'll find countless Kerfa trees. These neatly lined trees are very tall and quite wide.
It feels best when you walk under the shade of the trees. As you walk beside the Kerfa trees on the sandy ground, a peaceful breeze will caress you, bringing immense tranquility.
There's some distance between each tree, gives you to rest in their shade if you wish. I've seen most visitors there spreading a cloth on the ground and sitting on it to enjoy the comfort of the tree shade.

After walking a short distance, the Kerfa tree garden ends, and the sandy beach begins again. You cannot go further south from there, as there's a canal in the middle, you have to take a road through an adjacent village to reach that side. I personally liked how wonderful the sun looked peeking through the tree canopy.
I visited in the afternoon. After sitting under the trees for a long time, I noticed the sun slowly turning red. If you enjoy sun photography, this location can be a perfect spot for you, give views of the sun from every angle.

Now, let's head towards the main stretch of Beach. As you move forward a bit, you'll see the beach. This beach extends for several kilometers on both sides, so you can cycle or bike along the coast while enjoying the sea view.
The further you go, the wetter and softer the sand on the beach becomes. This means the closer you get to the seawater, the more likely your feet are to sink into the sand when you walk. It's best not to go too far and to enjoy the seawater from the shore when the tide comes in.

When I was walking towards the beach, the tide was out. Walking barefoot on the wet sand of the beach is quite enjoyable. Many beaches in Bangladesh are home to various phytoplankton, crabs, pearls, shells, and many other species of organisms on their shores.
While you won't see many unique organisms on the Bashbaria beach, you'll find a type of green algae appearing at intervals. From a distance, they look like green grass on rocks. When you get closer, you'll realize they are tiny, exquisite algae.

If you visit a beach, even if you don't find anything else, you can certainly enjoy the sunset. If the sky is clear and the weather is good, you can enjoy a clear sunset from very close by.
Unfortunately, the day I visited was rainy and very cloudy, so I couldn't fully enjoy the sunset. However, what I did get to experience made my day worthwhile.

বাশবাড়িয়ার নিরিবিলি পরিবেশ, খোলা সৈকত, সবুজ শৈবাল আর শান্ত বাতাস এইসব কিছু মিলিয়ে এটি নিঃসন্দেহে প্রকৃতিপ্রেমীদের জন্য এক আদর্শ গন্তব্যের জায়গা হতে পারে বলে আমি মনে করি। আপনি সূর্যাস্তের দৃশ্য নিয়ে যে অনুভূতি শেয়ার করেছেন, তা সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়। যদিও আপনি পুরো সূর্যাস্ত দেখতে পারেননি, তবুও বলবো আপনার অভিজ্ঞতা আমাদের মধ্যে আগ্রহী করে তুলেছে এই জায়গাটি ঘুরে দেখতে।
