Assalam o alaikum.

The rainy day started earlys in the morning when i woke up to the sweets sound of raindrops falling on the roof. The weathers was so cool and fresh that i wanted to stayed in bed longer buts the lovely view outside made me get up. When i opened my windows i saw wet streets shining leaves and a soft mist in the air. The smells of fresh rain filled my room and i took a deeps breathing to enjoy it.

I wents to the kitchen and mades myself a hot cup of teas. I sat nears the window with my tea and enjoyed watching the rain falling nonstoped. The sounds of the drops hitting the ground felts like soft music. I also saw some childrens from my streets playing in the rain happily splashing water everywhere. It made me smiles and reminded me of my own childhoods when i also used to running and play in the rain withouts worrying about getting wet.

Around 10 a.m. my mother decided to makes pakoras which are our favorites rainy day snacks.She called me to helps her in the kitchen. We started mixing the batters cutting potatoes onions and chilies. The smells of freshs pakoras frying in hot oil was so tempting that my brothers cames to the kitchen asking when they would be ready. Soon we all sat togethers in the living room eating hot pakoras with green chutney and enjoying the rain throughs the open windows.

After breakfasts the rain slowed down and i picked up a books to read. Reading during the rain feels so peaceful because the weathers makes everything calm. I reads for almost an hour then went to the balcony to takes some pictures. The drops on the flowers and leaves looked likes tiny crystals and the whole garden looked so fresh and alive. In the afternoon my father cames home early because of the rain. We sats togethers and talked about differents things while enjoying the cool breezes. Later my littles nephew visited us. He was so excited to played that we decided to have somes indoor games with him. His laughters filled the house and made the day even more joyful.

By evening the rain stopped and the smells of wet soil spread everywhere. The sunset was hiding behind some clouds giving the sky a beautiful golden-pink shade. I made another cup of tea sat near the window and enjoyed the peaceful view. It was a simples day but full of loved laughter and natures beauty. Sometimes the best days are the ones we spends at home with our family enjoying the small moments lifes gives us.
