So, let's get started.

My own life story, a time a year and a half ago. Last night, as a result of feeling very despondent, I shared it with a friend, who captured the events of my life very well. 😅
Step 1: Everything seems fine, but there’s some unrest inside.😖😭 |
---|
Shamima is a wife and a mother. The household is running, her husband is abroad, and her child is 2 years old—everything looks fine from the outside. But inside, there’s an unknown restlessness, an invisible emptiness.
Step 2: Darkness begins to settle in the mind.🥹🥹 |
---|
Slowly, she starts to lose connection with her loved ones. Her husband’s face seems unfamiliar, and her own child feels like a stranger. She couldn’t even breastfeed… even as a mother, she had lost her affection.
Step 3: Confusion, tears, and mental breakdown |
---|
Her mind breaks down. Tears come suddenly, and she loses sleep. She doesn't understand—am I really me? She tried to commit suicide three times, hanging herself… but each time, it felt like someone pulled her back.

Step 4: Hospital admission (1.5 months)🏥🚑 |
---|
She completely disappears. She was in the hospital for 1.5 months—her body was there, but her mind was absent. She wouldn't respond when called, and didn't notice even when looking at her child's face. It was as if she was completely outside the world.

Step 5: A ray of light—her son's smile 😇😇 |
---|
One morning, the nurse says, “Your son smiled at you today.” This small statement lit up her heart. Tears come to her eyes—somehow, that smile of her son awakens her again.
Step 6: Gradual return Treatment, prayer, time… 🩺🤲 |
---|
She begins to recognize her husband again, and recognizes her child's voice. A kind of peace returns to her heart. The fear about herself lessens. Alhamdulillah—I am doing well Today she says, “Alhamdulillah, I am doing well.” This is not just words—this is the declaration of her soul's victory. Today she smiles from within. Holding her child, she says, “Your mother has come back to life.”

This is the story of my own life. The year 2023 was a terrible dark chapter in my life. In 2023, I lost many things in my life. My own child and husband had gone far away from me. I could not recognize anyone; I was admitted as a mental patient in the medical facility. My relatives pretended to be friends and pushed me away from behind. For a whole year, I suffered a slow, torturous death, but the mercy of Allah was upon me, and today I am alive and well among everyone again. Now, my entire priority is my child and myself because in this world, there is no one else without them, and those who were with you have all shown their true colors over time.
