Tree Campaign and Tree Fair, Gazipur

I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the infinite grace of Allah, I am very well. Today I will share with you about the tree fair organized at Rajbari Ground in Gazipur. So let's get started.

Every year, a tree fair is organized at Rajbari Ground in Gazipur. Rajbari Ground is located in Joydevpur, Gazipur. Like every year, this year's tree fair started on August 2025. In this tree fair, nursery owners from different places bring trees from the nursery and plant them here. This Rajbari Ground is huge and half of the field is occupied by the stalls of this fair. This fair lasts for about a week or more.

Different varieties of fruit and flower trees, both known and unknown, are available in this fair. In addition, various materials or equipment for tree care, pesticides, and medicines are also available. The stalls here are very large, so there are only a few employees working here. During this fair, many people come here to see and buy trees.

A stall is set up by the Dhaka Forest Department in this fair. The slogan of this stall is "Planned afforestation, green Bangladesh". I buy different types of flowers and fruit trees from here. The attractive trees in each stall of these fairs include cactus and bonsai trees. The trees are beautifully arranged in each stall, which attracts customers to buy the trees. The stall staff also give tree care instructions.

One day, some volunteers come to this tree fair who plant trees, save the environment and work with the promise of not throwing garbage and waste wherever they are. In this fair, they gave one tree each in exchange for plastic bottles from all the people. I also brought two trees with two plastic bottles. And whoever takes trees from them with plastic bottles and comes back takes a promise from them, the promise is that they will not throw garbage and waste wherever they are. I really liked these works of the volunteers. Anyway, I learned from them that every year during the tree fair, they suddenly come here one day and distribute trees in exchange for plastic bottles from eight in the morning to five in the morning.

In addition to the tree stalls at this tree fair, there are also various food stalls. Because there are so many people here every day, they eat different types of food from here in addition to looking at and buying trees. In addition, there are various toy shops for children. The tree fair is open from eight in the morning to ten at night.
