Kamar Ali High School & College
"Kamar Ali High School and College", Fatulla, is a well-known educational institution in Narayanganj district. It originally started as a secondary school, later it was upgraded to higher secondary level and a college branch has also been established. Teaching activities are conducted here using modern technology.
Brief history of "Kamar Ali High School and College":
This institution first started as a secondary school. Later, with the help of education enthusiasts in the area, it was upgraded to higher secondary level in 1996 and the college branch was included in the MPO in 2000.
After being approved by the board in 2010, the school was named "Kamar Ali High School" through a double shift. After the college branch was started in 2013, it was named "Kamar Ali High School and College". Currently, Qamar Ali High School and College has more than 1000 regular students and teaching is done here using modern technology.
School Gatekeeper
Register Book
As soon as you enter the school gate, you will see a gatekeeper sitting, he always keeps an eye on who is coming and going in the school. Also, if someone comes to the school for any reason, he writes it down in a register and also writes down the phone number of that person. He also takes care of the students, does not allow any student to leave before the school holidays without a guardian and also makes sure that all the students are wearing the full school uniform.
School Buildings
As soon as you enter the school, you will see 3 big buildings, two of which are for school students and one is for college students. The classes of the school students are held in two shifts, one is the morning shift and the other is the day shift because the classes of boys and girls are held at different times. The morning shift has girls' classes and the day shift has boys' classes, girls' classes are held from 8 am to 12 pm and then boys' classes are held from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Both boys and girls are taught together in the college, their classes start at 10 am and end at 2 pm.
School Background
There is a big playground in front of the buildings where the students are given PT. Also, various school sports and any small or big cultural programs are organized in this ground. When it is tiffin time, the students can sit in the field and eat food and everyone can play games together.
Stage
Shaheed Minar
There is a stage next to the field which is made of cement and tiles so that it is always intact. Any school or college program is organized on this stage. Some distance from the stage there is a Shaheed Minar, it has been made very beautifully and has been painted to make it more attractive. It was basically built so that the students can pay respect to the martyrs by offering flowers here on International Mother Language Day.
Principal Room
The name of the school principal is MD. Nurul Islam. And this is the school principal's room, where he sits and discusses all the school matters. If a guardian comes to meet him, they sit in this room and discuss. I tried to take some pictures of the school's classrooms and teachers' room, but due to some difficulties, I couldn't take them.
Washroom
The school has a pretty big washroom for the students. There are a few mirrors installed there, along with basins for washing hands and face.
School's Environment
The environment inside the school is quite beautiful and surrounded by greenery, there are quite a few trees planted all around, so that the school's environment looks charming.
Outside of School
Also, there is quite a lot of empty space on the road outside the school, where different types of food are sold such as: Fuska, Jhalmuri, Achar, Ice cream, Panipuri and many more! The students of the school buy and eat different things from there during tiffin. But when I went to school, due to rain, no food stalls were set up on the road, so no food stalls are visible in the pictures I took.
