Lal Mosque Shyampur Dhaka
Hello Steemit friends,
Today I have visited the Shyampur Lal Mosque. This famous mosque is located on the banks of the traditional Buriganga River in the capital, Dhaka. Today I will pin the Lal Mosque in Steam Atlas. Now I am sharing some information about the mosque.
Front side of the Lal Mosque
Shyampur Lal Mosque is a famous mosque. As the name of the mosque is Lal Mosque, so is the color of the mosque.
The entire mosque is made of red bricks. Being completely red bricks, its beauty and many qualities have been enhanced. Its name seems to have a sense of beauty. Once you pass by it, you have to look back again.
Another side of Lal Mosque
The mosque has been named Lal Mosque because it is red. That is why this area is known as Lal Mosque, meaning that a mosque represents an area.
How was the mosque built? The exact location of those who took the initiative to build such a beautiful mosque cannot be found. However, it is said by people that this mosque is over 100 years old.
Imam Sahib's prayer place
The original owner of the mosque could not be identified, but a family has been caring for the mosque for generations. In addition, members, chairmen, and public representatives of the area are closely involved in the care of this mosque.
Watch of prayer times
The mosque is located on the banks of the Buriganga River. The cool breeze coming from the river can also be found here. The worshippers who come here get the opportunity to come in contact with the pure air of nature while offering prayers.
Pure drinking water in the mosque
The Red Mosque has a minaret. Four microphones have been installed on the four sides of the very tall minaret, so that the sound of the call to prayer can spread in all directions. The minaret has been beautifully crafted. Its beauty is also reflected in the red and white combination of the roof.
Beautiful atmosphere in the mosque
The three-story mosque can accommodate about 1,500+ worshippers at a time. Especially on Fridays, during Friday prayers, the roof of the mosque is crowded with worshippers.
Mosque is air-conditioned
There are two gates to enter the mosque. Since it is located next to the road, there is always a crowd of Muslims. Moreover, many people come here to pray because of the beauty of the mosque.
Watch to know the time of prayer
The mosque has a very long ablution room. 35-40 Muslims can perform ablution at the same time. Water is arranged at all times for ablution.
The mosque has a large clock with prayer times. The prayer times are given there every time. The Muslims also collect updates of the prayer times from the clock.
Tasbih in the mosque
There are many loudspeakers in the mosque. This arrangement is so that all the Muslims can hear every word of the Imam.
The ground floor of the mosque is fully air-conditioned, and along with air conditioning, there is an adequate fan system. Muslims use it whenever they need it. Although the ground floor of the mosque is air-conditioned, the second and third floors have not yet been air-conditioned.
Exhaust fan in the mosque
The prayer place of the Imam of the mosque is very beautiful. The place has been beautifully built with red bricks and marble stones.
There is a system of drinking pure water inside the mosque. This great purpose is to quench the thirst of the thirsty Muslims who come here.
Praying is obligatory for Muslims, which must be followed. Even the elderly who have difficulty bowing or prostrating come to fulfill the command of Allah. Separate chairs have been kept so that they can also sit and pray.
Advertisement seeking help to rebuild mosque
There is a shoe box in the mosque for keeping shoes, and Muslims pray by placing their shoes in these boxes.
There are many stands in front of the prayer so that others do not have any difficulty.
The worshippers come to the mosque to worship. They need Tasbeeh. That is why Tasbeeh has been placed in different places.
There is a very large exhaust fan to remove the hot air inside the mosque. There are four exhaust fans on each floor.
Toilet cleaner for a clean toilet
The development work of the Red Mosque will start very soon; a lot of money is needed for the development. For the sake of Allah, a poster has been made to appeal for help for the mosque.
There are many toilets in the mosque. Tissue paper is needed for that. That is why tissues have been kept. In addition, toilet cleaners are used to clean the toilets. Garbage baskets are used to store garbage.
I offer Zuhr prayers in the mosque, and I think it is an ideal place for many prayers.
