Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to participate in the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 23 Week#3. After a long time, I am publishing my entry in the Learning Challenge today from where there is an opportunity to learn a lot. This time the subject is also interesting and that is Chinese cuisine.

Have you tried any Chinese food? Which Chinese food is available at your local places?

Yes, I have tried Chinese food. I even cook Chinese food at home whenever I get a chance. I like chow mein very much among Chinese dishes. Chinese food is also available in almost all restaurants in Bangladesh. That being said, most people in Bangladesh love Chinese food and there is a huge demand for Chinese food in the local markets of Bangladesh.

Many times I have prepared Chinese food at home for some special festival. For example, chow mein, dumplings, fried rice, chili chicken, mixed vegetables, which I have made at home. And enjoy the meals with the whole family.

The most popular Chinese foods in my local area are fried rice, crispy chili chicken, Chinese vegetables, chow mein, dumplings, etc. The Chinese restaurants here are very delicious and make their dishes with fresh ingredients. So, people like me who like Chinese food go to Chinese restaurants again and again to taste all these different styles of Chinese food. Also, those who are good at making Chinese food prepare delicious Chinese food at home.

Make the given recipe or any recipe that you like from Chinese cuisine step by step in detail with pictures.

I really liked the given recipe shown in the course. Although I did try the food once in the restaurant. But this course made me interested in making it. I have tried to follow every step shown in the course as much as possible. So without further delay the ingredients for making Chicken dried chillies are presented below.

Cooking Ingredients :


First I am introducing the ingredients for marinating boneless chickens.

Boneless chicken 500 grams
Egg - 1
Salt - according to measurement

Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cornflower - 2 teaspoons
Flour - 1 teaspoon

The ingredients we need to make Chicken Dried Chilli are presented below with pictures and measurements:

Green chillies - 8 pieces
Soy sauce- 2 teaspoons
Spring onion leaves chopped- as per quantity

Ginger chopped- 1 teaspoon
Garlic chopped- 1 teaspoon
Sugar- 1 teaspoon

Chili sauce- 2 teaspoons
Chilli garlic sauce- 2 teaspoons
Oyster sauce - 2 teaspoons

Chicken stock- 1/5 cup
Salt - as per measurement
Black pepper powder- 1/4 teaspoon

How to Cook :

Step : 01

  • First, to marinate 500 grams of chicken, I will mix all the ingredients with the chicken. As you can see in the picture below, I will first mix the beaten egg with the chicken.

Step : 02

  • Then I will add salt and mix it with black pepper powder.

Step : 03

  • Then I will mix the chicken with corn flour and flour according to the size of the ingredients and mix the chicken well.

Step : 04

After mixing the ingredients, cover and marinate for 25 minutes.1000031614.jpg

Step : 05

  • After marinating for 25 minutes, I will take a fry pan. I will add oil there and heat the oil. Then I will fry the marinated chickens one by one.

Step : 06

  • I will fry all the chickens in hot oil on medium heat until golden and crispy. After frying the chickens, I will keep them in a bowl.

Step : 07

  • Then I will add oil to the pan again and add ginger and garlic paste. Then I will add some raw chilies in it. Mix them together well.

Step : 08

  • In the next step, I will add my fried chickens to the pan. After adding the fried chickens, I will add some ginger.

Step : 09

  • In this step, I will add the sauce and the rest of the ingredients one by one. In the chicken, I will first add chili sauce, soy sauce, Chilli garlic sauce, Oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper powder and mix them well.

Look after mixing the ingredients:

Step : 10

  • Then I pour the remaining chicken stock into the chicken. Then I will cook it on high heat for a minute.

  • In the last step, I will mix some raw chilies, chopped ginger and onion leaves well and make my Chicken dried chillies.

What is your favorite family recipe from Chinese cuisine that you make with fusion of your local species?

Fried rice and Chinese vegetables are the most commonly prepared Chinese dishes in my family. This Chinese dish is as easy to make as it is delicious to eat. The reason why Chinese vegetable is in high demand in our family is because of its benefits. It is rich in fiber and contains a lot of vitamins and along with iron and calcium, one dish provides it. Moreover, I also add vegetables to fried rice, which is very beneficial for health. And I and all my family members collect vegetables and all the ingredients from our local market and make them at home.

Apart from this, momos are also a favorite Chinese recipe of me and my family. I am quite good at making momos. I always prefer to eat healthy food. With which food I can get the taste of the food and also get the necessary nutrition. Momo I make with meat or vegetables in my local species mix as per my wish. In this case I tend to make steam momo more than frying momo.

Any difficulty that you faced during making recipe?

I didn't face any kind of problem while making the recipe. Rather, I enjoyed making the dish a lot. Moreover, I would like to thank @suboohi mam who presented each step of the Chinese dish in a very beautiful way for the students to understand, so that I did not have any problem in making it. I was able to learn another Chinese dish cooking method through this course. And to be honest, it was very delicious to eat. I tried this Chinese food with all my family including me. My family members also liked it a lot. I hope to get an opportunity to explore more delicious Global Cuisine in the future through this course.

I really liked your Chinese recipes and really we in Bangladesh also like to eat Chinese food a lot these days and the crowd in Chinese restaurants is increasing day by day because the popularity of Chinese food is increasing a lot in Bangladesh and you have made Chinese food with your own hands at home and you make these dishes for your family at home for quite some time. Some Chinese dishes look almost similar to local dishes from different countries, and this is where the uniqueness of these dishes lies
I think you have successfully made a recipe for chicken and dried green chilies. From the look I am sure it tastes very delicious.
