I wasn’t feeling very well this Friday. There was some pain in my right leg, though I couldn’t figure out why. In the morning, one of my close elder brothers called and asked me to hang out and have tea. I took a motor van to the market and met him there. He had some of his mother’s jewelry that needed repair, so we stopped at a jewelry shop where he gave them for fixing. After that, we went to Shah Restaurant for tea.

On the way to the market

We enjoyed red tea together, and then took a short walk around the market. My elder brother checked a few fruit shops for mangoes, but neither the price nor the shopkeepers’ behavior pleased him, so he decided to buy mangoes later from somewhere else.

Morning tea

Since Friday has special prayers, we didn’t spend much time at the market and decided to head home. My elder brother mentioned he’d be going to Saidpur later and asked if I’d like to join him. I agreed. I returned home by van, took a shower, and then went to the mosque for Jumu’ah prayer.

The train arrived before I reached the station

After prayer, I came home, had lunch, and took a short rest. In the afternoon, I headed to the station to catch the train to Saidpur with my elder brother. The train was already at the station when I arrived, and my brother was seated in the coach he told me about on the phone.

The majority of the seats inside the train were empty

When we reached Saidpur and were crossing the railway lines, one of my shoelaces tore. We stopped by a street cobbler to have it fixed. Then my brother went to a lock repair shop to sort out some locker key issues. After that, we visited a younger brother at his home—he wasn’t feeling well. We chatted for a while before heading to meet an uncle, as my elder brother had something to discuss with him.

Dessert

In the evening, we returned to Saidpur town and went to a restaurant for some snacks and desserts. I just had two desserts, while my elder brother had a few snacks. Then we went to the railway station to catch the train back to our hometown.

I sat near the switch cabin office

After arriving, my brother stopped by the switch cabin office to meet some of his colleagues, while I waited nearby. Once he was done, we both headed home separately. I freshened up and rested for a while. Despite the leg pain, it was quite a busy day, and by night I was feeling weak.

My diary ends here. May everyone be healthy and safe by the grace of Allah. I will try to share my activities with you for the next day.
