The Diary Game: 05.08.2025 | Cloudy Skies, Doctor Visits, and Hope for Recovery

My knee wasn’t healing properly, so my father booked an appointment with an orthopedic and trauma surgeon at Saidpur Green Life Lab & Hospital. My mom also had a slight curvature in her neck bone, so my father arranged an appointment for both of us.

In the afternoon, my mom and I left home for Saidpur. The sky was dark and cloudy when we set out, and as soon as we left the bus terminal, it began to rain. Since I was sitting near the auto-rickshaw door, my left leg got wet.

Thankfully, the rain didn’t last long. By the time we reached Saidpur, the weather had turned sunny again. Before going to the hospital, I stopped at a dessert shop for a quick bite, though my mom didn’t eat anything. Then we headed to the hospital and took help from the reception to find the doctor’s chamber.

We didn’t have to wait too long. My mom went in first for her consultation. The doctor advised some medical tests before starting her treatment. Then it was my turn. After examining my left knee, the doctor recommended an MRI to determine if there’s any major issue with my knee.

Afterwards, we briefly visited a clothing market in Saidpur, but my mom couldn’t find the fabrics she wanted. We then bought our prescribed medicines from a pharmacy and headed to Saidpur Railway Station to catch a train back home.

Upon arriving in our town, we stopped at Shah Restaurant for dinner. We had hotchpotch with chicken curry, which was a satisfying end to the day. Back home, I freshened up and took a much-needed rest.

Health and illness are a blessing from Allah Almighty. However, as weak believers, we become troubled by the blessing of illness. We suffer a lot. There is no opportunity to take any disease lightly. Since you have pain in your knee, which makes it difficult to walk and sit. I pray to Allah to grant you a speedy recovery. And to grant your mother a speedy recovery from her neck pain. Take medicine on time and wait patiently, Inshallah you will recover.
