The Diary Game: 12.08.2025 | Walking with My Father: Every Step Touches the Soul

A few days ago, I had my MRI and CT scan done, but the lab authority informed me to contact them after three days for the report. After two days, when my father reached out to them, they said the report was ready. However, Rangpur is quite far from our town, which makes it difficult to go there and collect the report. On top of that, I was feeling physically unwell, so I decided to wait a few more days before going to Rangpur to pick it up.

After finishing lunch at noon, I took a short rest. A little while before evening, I went out for a quiet walk alone. I walked next to the railway lines. I had been feeling a bit down at home, so I really needed that walk to clear my mind. After a short stroll, I came back home. Later in the evening, I spent some time on my smartphone before going out again with my father for another walk.

My father is over 60 years old, and I always feel good walking with him. In my opinion, people at this age often feel a bit lonely, wish for extra care from their loved ones, or sometimes stay worried deep inside. That’s why I enjoy spending time with him, whether it’s walking together, eating something at a restaurant, or enjoying street food. May Allah bless all parents with good health and happiness.

My father and I went to a restaurant where he had some snacks, and I enjoyed a piece of sweet. A little later, we bought some peanuts and then had boiled eggs from a street food stall. After that, my father went to the pharmacy to buy some medicines, while I went to meet my younger brother.

We ate peanuts together and took a walk around the railway station before heading back home. It was an enjoyable evening at the market. After returning home, I took some rest and had my dinner before it got too late. Later, I spent a little time on my smartphone before going to sleep.
