The morning started off quite ordinary. But Alhamdulillah, it was peaceful and not every day begins with that kind of calm. For that reason alone, I felt grateful to my Lord, even for a normal day. I quickly finished my breakfast and then spent some time completing a few of my Steemit tasks.

Around noon, I took a shower and had my lunch. After a short rest, I set out with my parents towards Saidpur. Just a few minutes before 3 PM, we reached the train station.

Luckily, the train was already there, waiting. We quickly boarded, and since most of the seats were empty, finding places to sit wasn’t difficult at all. Within a short while, the train started moving, and in just about 20 minutes we reached Saidpur.

From the station, we walked along the railway line towards Saidpur Plaza, where we headed straight into the Apex showroom. The collection of keds and sandals at Apex was quite good. I’ve actually bought shoes from this showroom several times before, and their quality has always impressed me.

First, we chose a pair of leather sandals for my father. Then it was my mother’s turn to pick. While she was looking at different styles, I suggested a pair of loafers for her. She had never worn loafers before, so I thought it would be a nice new experience for her. Thankfully, she really liked them. After that, she also selected a pair of sandals.

When it was time to pay the bill, the total came to 3,830 BDT, which is about $47.85 USD or roughly 383 STEEM (1 STEEM = $0.1249).

After making the payment, my mother suggested we have a little snack. We went to a hotel and ordered some sweets. Unfortunately, the sweets didn’t taste fresh, so I mentioned it to one of the staff. They immediately replaced them with better ones, which I appreciated. A little while later, I had a cup of tea. Before heading home, my mother reminded me to buy a burger for my niece.

So, I went to Kacchi Heaven Restaurant and ordered one. The burger cost 100 BDT (≈ $1.25 or about 10 STEEM).

After buying the burger, my parents headed home, while I decided to stay back in Saidpur to meet up with a younger brother and spend some time exploring different showrooms with him. I met him a little before evening, and together we visited several shops. At one point, while checking out the RFL Super Shop, we tried their pomegranate juice. It was actually the first time I ever tasted pomegranate juice, and I really enjoyed the experience.

Later, we visited one of the largest showrooms in Saidpur, called “Top Ten.” It’s a spacious two-story showroom with a wide variety of products. However, I noticed that most of the items there were quite expensive, definitely beyond the reach of many middle-class families.

After finishing our showroom visits, my younger brother and I went to a restaurant for dinner. I ordered hotchpotch with lentils, while he had hotchpotch with beef. The food was simple but tasty, and we enjoyed our meal together. After dinner, we headed towards the station. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an off day for the train to Parbatipur, so traveling by train wasn’t an option. Instead, we sat at a small tea stall near the station and had some tea.

A little while later, I said goodbye to my younger brother and went to the bus terminal. From there, I took an auto and finally made it back to Parbatipur. After returning home, I freshened up. I was really tired, so I laid down on the bed for a while and scrolled through my smartphone. A little later, I had some food.

Overall, it was truly a joyful day for me. Shopping with my parents was the best part, such moments always feel special. On top of that, I also enjoyed spending time with my younger brother, visiting different showrooms around Saidpur town. The whole day left me with some beautiful memories.
