Travel || Daulodia ferry crossing on arrival from Dhaka to Meherpur
Hello friends
How are you all? I hope you are all doing very well by the grace of God. I am also doing very well by your prayers. I am going to start today's new post by greeting and congratulating all the brothers and sisters of "Steem for Bangladesh" on my behalf. Today I am here to present you with a beautiful post about travel. I hope you will get the opportunity to learn a lot through this question.
My father has been very ill for a long time. So he was taken to Dhaka BIRDEM Hospital for advanced treatment. When he was brought home after recovering from a long time in Barem Hospital, I boarded a bus from Dhaka Nabinagar. Then I moved forward thinking that I would have to cross the ferry from there to come home. Anyway, I moved forward like this. Then we boarded our desired SB bus. There, other people like us boarded the car. The weather was fairly good. It was quite difficult to pull only my sick father at that moment. However, we boarded the car differently. I noticed that passengers were being picked up from different places. However, after getting into the car, we first encountered an accident. I noticed that a car had an accident in front of our car. Because of this, we had to stop there for quite a while. It crossed Nabinagar and reached a place called Chandra. Then our car moved forward again. Then Dhaka continued to cross Manikganj city. I kept looking out the window at this beautiful city.
The journey from Manikganj to Dauldia ferry was truly a memorable experience. The surrounding green scenery, paddy fields, trees and rural beauty filled the entire route with a different kind of magical atmosphere. When we reached Dauldia ghat, the huge body of the ferry came into view, it felt like a reliable vehicle was waiting for us. The hustle and bustle of people, long lines of cars, various food shops and the busyness of travelers created a unique atmosphere there. The moment we boarded the ferry really gave us a different feeling. The cars were lined up one by one. People slowly boarded the ferry. Again, many people got off the car or bus and stood on the ferry. And then the journey began, cutting through the chest of the Padma River. The vast waters of the Padma spread as far as the eye could see, somewhere the waves were playing, somewhere the sunlight shimmered on the still and calm water. As soon as the river breeze hit our faces, it felt as if all the fatigue was disappearing in an instant. Several of us kept watching the waves of the river. As the ferry slowly reaches the middle of the river, the scenery around it becomes even more fairytale-like. Standing in the middle of the river, the distance between the two banks is so vast that it feels like I am floating in an endless water realm. Small boats in the distance, the busyness of fishermen, dinghies floating on the riverbed, and the occasional white buck calling all make the scenery more alive. When the ghat towards Rajbari starts to come into view, it feels like we are reaching the end of the beauty of this journey. As the ferry slowly reaches the ghat, a kind of rush is created among the people, but still the joyful memories of crossing the river remain etched in my mind.
Crossing the Padma River from Manikganj to Rajbari on the Dauldia ferry is not just a trip, but a unique experience where the beauty of nature, the hustle and bustle of people, and the endless glory of the river are mixed. This journey will remain in my memory forever as a sweet moment of life. I was just thinking that many times accidents happen at the moment of ferry crossing. If there is any kind of accident, then I don't know how much suffering I have to endure. Because this moment makes me understand that not only me but many people like me are returning home from Dhaka city. Some are on vacation, some are with sick parents like me. If at such a moment, there is no suffering in the river, then I don't know how much suffering it becomes. So I pray that no one ever gets into an accident in the river and that the great creator protects everyone in that way. Anyway, after that, we reached the Dolodia ghat and felt relieved.
