Aslam o alaikum everyone I hope you all are doing well and enjoying life I am good too. Today I will be sharing a post about Lahore Museum.
Since my childhood I am obsessed with art and ancient stuff. And I also like visiting places like museums. I really wanted to visit the Lahore Museum and finally I got a chance to visit the Lahore Museum.
First of all I will give you guys some information about the Museum.
Location
Mall road, Lahore , Punjab , Pakistan.
Establishment
1865, moved to present site in 1894.
Type
Archeology, art , heritage , modern history , religious.
Why is the Lahore Museum famous ?
The museum is widely known for its rich collection of Buddhist art from the ancient Indo-Greek and Gandhara civilizations.
The Lahore Museum is acknowledged as the oldest museum in Pakistan.
It stands as a significant example of British-era architectural heritage.
It was raining heavily on our way to the museum. When we reached there we were all wet. Anyways we got our tickets and went in. The ticket price was 50 PKR.
When we went in the place was so quiet and calm. Everything over there was so interesting. Like they had ancient instruments , clothes , carpets , the way people used to do things , weapons and so much more.
The museum was very big. It takes time to look at everything. It was a very interesting and educational place for kids and adults.
There were also things giving information about how Pakistan was made , the two nation theory and other stuff.
