Diary Game|8.8.25|goodies on the road
Hi ☺️
It was Sunday morning that I decided to get out early. I grab my 🚲 bike and off to Cordova I cycled. This is what I wanted for long but couldn't do with so many excuses.
The Basak Crossing road is always busy with lots of tricycle , motorcycle and cars especially when its weekdays. It is not convenient for me to drive in it. I choose Sunday morning 🌄 because the road is quite calm.
It was about 6 am but I was still in Marigondon when I could see the sun 🌞 was already up high. I couldn't see it by the bay at the Cordova port. I kept cycling though so I could reach it but now not hurrying much. Just take is slowly and steady. My left ankle has a little sharp pain. Then I realized I didn't had a warm up first. I observed the pain hoped it would go. It faded away slowly as I pedaled and entered the Crossing to Cordova highway.
At last I I have reached the port road. On the left side of the road there were having zumba dance. They looked fun to watch. Many are walking and jogging to and fro. Stopped for a minute to take pictures but couldn't get nice photos.
The street is wide and tidy. Long enough to enjoy foe everyone. Here we could tie up our bikes if you wanted to walk or jog. But I kept my bike with me, I don't have a realable chain .
Swake
On the side of the road facing the sea. Here are vendors of fresh seafoods are busy entertaining customers. Sea urchins are abundant. I ask the one here, he said its 300 php per pail 🪣 but what I heard from others it was at 150 php. This is why people come here to eat fresh urchins poured with seasoned vinegar. They seems inviting to try but I haven't tried it yet.
Bingka
After the stroll at the port, I was going 🔙 back to the 🏠 house. On my way back, I stopped by at the freshly bake goodies beside the road
It is the bingka made of rice flour with coconut milk. I bought 4 pcs at 45 php. I believe this is the authentic way of making the right bingka. They have retain the original process of baking it and the taste is similar to way back home in my province.
Moving on, as I cycled back I saw another vendor that sells buko that I couldn't resist. I bought and drink straight from the fruit. It refreshing.
That was fulfilling Sunday that I had. I hope there will be next.
See you 😊
