I Built 2 Websites Related to Our Team’s May Curatorial Works [EN – ID] Saya Bangun Dua Website Terkait Kerja Tim Kami Sebagai Kurator Komunitas Bulan Mei
1. TIME ZONE DIFFERENCE
The story begins when we (I and @solperez and @wakeupkitty) were selected as one of the Steemit community curator teams for the month of May under the name TRUE COLOURS 5. In a conversation on the Telegram group, we briefly touched on the issue of time difference: the three of us are in three time zones that differ quite a bit from where I am a few hours in the future (solperez on UTC -4, wakeupkitty on UTC +2, and me on UTC +7).
I got fed up with this time issue, and felt the need to know the time in my two teammates' time zones. So I created a web app that was just a page showing 5 digital clocks with 5 different time zones including the 3 team members'.
Starting from a very simple version (only showing hours, minutes and seconds) for the 3 different default time zones (Jakarta, Caracas, Amsterdam), then I added the UTC default and one Johannesburg default (given that many users from the African region have the same time zone as Amsterdam), eventually I added a function to change the time zone and milliseconds, so now I got it like this:
This was actually inspired by Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan television series (Amazon Prime Video) that I watched a while back, where there were several scenes showing the boardroom of intelligence leaders which had several LED digital clocks on the wall that showed the time in several time zones in the world, so that they could immediately know at what time they woke up someone from their sleep on the other side of the world.
Well, now I can tell the time where my colleagues are. It may seem trivial, but I feel the need of this kind of information to give me some relief in organising the voting schedule and making sure my teammates can get through it comfortably.
2. RECENT STATS
When I first got involved with the True Colours Team (on True Colours 2 in December 2024), I was aware of a few things that the Team's vision and mission was all about, including vote equity (by gender, country, etc.) and accessible updated information. I've been the one taking care of the team's curation data and building the reports since True Colours 2, and I know very well that wakeupkitty values information and bases her actions on it, which is why she will always look at the latest vote composition developments, to get an idea of her next vote actions.
All team members can get up-to-date info on the team's vote statistics through Google Sheet, for example, as shown in the following image, the latest statistics on the number of votes on posts and comments by country, in the form of tables and charts.
However, for a more immersive experience, a website has been built for the True Colours 5 Team, where statistics on the progress of curation activities over time are presented in a different way. The data and charts that appear on the website come from Google Sheets, so any changes in Google Sheets will automatically change the data and charts presented on the website.
I hope this will make it easier for team members to get an overview of the latest statistical conditions and form the basis of action for the next vote when it is their turn.

1. PERBEDAAN ZONA WAKTU
Cerita bermula ketika kami (saya dan @solperez dan @wakeupkitty) terpilih sebagai salah satu tim kurator komunitas Steemit untuk bulan Mei. Ini telah menjadi tim TRUE COLOURS 5. Dalam sebuah perbincangan di group Telegram, kita sempat menyinggung masalah perbedaan waktu: kami bertiga berada di tiga zona waktu yang berbeda lumayan jauh di mana saya beberapa jam di masa depan (solperez pada UTC -4, wakeupkitty pada UTC +2, dan saya pada UTC +7).
Saya menjadi bosan dengan masalah waktu ini, dan merasa adanya sebuah tuntutan untuk saya tahu waktu pada zona waktu kedua teman satu team saya itu. Jadi saya membuat sebuah web app yang isinya hanyalah sebuah halaman yang menunjukkan 5 buah jam digital dengan 5 zona waktu berbeda termasuk 3 zona waktu kami para anggota team.
Diawali dari versi sangat sederhana (hanya menunjukkan jam, menit, dan waktu) untuk 3 zona waktu default berbeda, lalu saya tambahkan default UTC dan satu default Johannesburg (mengingat tidak sedikit pengguna dari kawasan Afrika, yang ternyata memiliki zona waktu yang sama dengan Amsterdam), pada akhirnya saya tambahkan fungsi untuk mengganti zona waktu dan milidetik, sehingga saat ini saya mendapatkannya seperti ini:
Ini sebenarnya diilhami dari serial televisi Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (amazon prime video) yang saya tonton beberapa waktu sebelumnya, di mana ada beberapa scene yang memperlihatkan ruang rapat para pemimpin inteligen yang memiliki beberapa jam digital di dinding yang memperlihatkan waktu pada beberapa zona waktu di dunia, sehingga mereka bisa segera tahu pada waktu yang bagaimana mereka membangunkan seseorang dari tidurnya di belahan dunia lain.
Baiklah, sekarang saya bisa tahu waktu di mana rekan-rekan saya berada. Ini terlihat sepele, tapi kita memerlukan informasi begini untuk memberikan kita kelegaan dalam mengatur jadwal vote dan memastikan rekan-rekan satu tim bisa menjalaninya dengan nyaman.
2. STATISTIK TERKINI
Saat pertama kali saya terlibat dengan Tim True Colours (pada True Colours 2 di Desember 2024), saya menyadari beberapa hal yang menjadi visi dan misi Tim, termasuk pemerataan vote (berdasarkan gender, negara, dan sebagainya) serta informasi yang mudah diakses. Saya telah menjadi orang yang mengurus data kurasi tim sejak True Colours 2, dan saya tahu persis bahwa wakeupkitty sangat menghargai informasi dan mendasarkan tindakannya pada hal itu, karenyanya dia selalu akan melihat perkembangan komposisi vote terkini, untuk mendapat gambaran tindakan vote selanjutnya.
Seluruh anggota tim bisa mendapatkan info terkini terhadap statistik vote tim melalui Google Sheet, misalnya seperti yang terlihat pada gambar berikut, statistik terkini jumlah vote pada postingan dan komentar berdasarkan negara, dalam bentuk tabel dan chart.
Namun, untuk pengalaman yang lebih, Tim True Colours 5 juga telah memiliki website, di mana statistik perkembangan kegiatan kurasi per waktu disajikan dengan cara berbeda. Data dan chart yang muncul di website berasal dari Google Sheet, sehingga setiap perubahan di Google Sheet akan secara otomatis merubah data dan chart yang disajikan di website.
Saya harap ini akan memudahkan anggota tim untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang kondisi statistik terbaru dan menjadi dasar tindakan dalam melakukan vote selanjutnya ketika tiba giliran masing-masing.

Simple or not, it's great. Can those sites be found by google/search engines?
I believe it is not easily found. The webs SEO have not been taken care of. And I dont really think that it is necessary.
Does that count for every site built? It could be a way to promote Steemit
I can go there and take care of SEO, but it will take time. You know we have SSEA-MINER website as well. It would be a combo promo Steem.

I did not take those sites this serious. I mean when I built them, I only thought of them as part of an activity. Like SSEA-MINER is where I save notes about the Programme and True Colours 5 is only for the May curatorial activity.
Maybe it can be bigger. The two sites can be merged, along with the tools I built previously. I will work on it, but as I said, it takes time.
