I Made a Portrait of My Friend

My name is @glorystar21. I am happy to share my new art with you today. I made a portrait of my friend, and I am delighted to post it here for you to see

I started the drawing since last week. I used a photo of him smiling as my guide. At first I was a bit worried if I will do it. Drawing a real person is harder than drawing from your imagination. I centered more on his eyes because I wanted to get those eyes right. I use 2B and charcoal pencils for the dark spot of his hair and my eraser to make some light spot. I was a little bit tired, but I didn't want to stop

The best part was drawing her smile. He has a great smile and I wanted to capture the simile. When I finally finished, I so happy. I showed my friend and she said That looks just like him That made me feel very good

I really love making art. It makes me feel calm and happy. It is like giving them a gift that you made with your own hands.
