First thing was we had a meeting to all employees. Our speaker discussed about safety protocols during fire. She discussed and taught us where is our evacuation route. Our company has 3 fire exits and the population of our company is approximately 300 employees. Those 3 exits has designated groups on where to pass during fire. It is important not to panic and follow in order to avoid chaos and accidents.

We also had a teaching on how to use the fire extinguisher. It is important to employees to have knowledge and knows how to perform.

To effectively use a fire extinguisher, follow the PASS method: Pull the pin, Aim low at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle, and Sweep from side to side. Ensure you're at a safe distance from the fire and know where your exit routes are.

After the discussion we practiced the evacuation route and went outside. Leaders in each departments count their members and checked them. After, 10 employees given a chance to use the fire extinguisher. There was an actual fire and extinguished it. Having the knowledge on how to use the fire extinguisher is important in order to contain small fires and avoid more damages .
