‎Introduction
‎Friendship is one of the most beautiful connections we share in life. In this post, I’m joining the contest “When last did you say hello to your friend?” to reflect on a few important people in my life.

‎Who is your friend? Why do you choose him/her as your friend?
‎
‎My friend is I would be to use in post is NYAKNNO. I chose her because of her loyalty, honesty, and the way they always shows up for me — even when I don’t ask. We connect not just by words, but through understanding and energy. Even though we haven't seen each other for more than 5 years now, she is still the best I can remember.

‎There was a time I was going through a lot. No one called, I thought I didn't exist anymore. Sometimes I begin to wonder if people still have my number, but they do. And I know their intentions each time I see their calls.

‎She didn't get tired when, sometimes, she called and she couldn't reach me. I never expected just a good attitude from her .....but here I am. Seeing her as the only person who checks in often, I can proudly say she's my friend.

‎How do you feel when you do not hear from your friend?
‎
‎When I don’t hear from my friend for a while, it's either she no get light to charge her phone, or maybe Airtel doesn't allow her to borrow airtime again......(don't mind us, that's how we played) But honestly I will feel a bit off — like something is missing. I won't feel sad.....for wetin na🤣 but I will feel the silence and that will force me to reach out and check on them. Recently I have been trying to reach her but not been available. I have tried a different line. I have switched it all off.

‎I don't know what is going on right there, but I believe she is okay for me. I also tried to reach her on social Media and no sign that she's online. I will keep trying. Since she didn't give up on me, I won't give up on her either.

‎What are those qualities you look at before calling someone your friend?

‎- Honesty
‎- Loyalty
‎- Positive mindset
‎- Respect
‎- The ability to grow together
‎I don’t just keep friends for vibes — I look for real value, trust, and peace.
‎
‎That is what many participants and others will say..... Am not against it. But for me. You can be loyal, honest, have a positive mindset, and deep repeat, but you see that attention.......I need it the most.
‎
‎I can't be giving you my 100% attention, and you're giving me just 20 to 30%, no, no, no, it doesn't work that way. It has to balance it, and if we can't, that means we're not compatible together.
‎
‎I can't be there for you when you need me, but when I need you, you're not there. I guess friendship is the work of each party not one party.
‎
‎So to me, in addition to respect, honesty, loyalty, the most important thing for me is attention.....

‎Conclusion
‎So you you you that's reading this post, Friendship is not about how often you talk to someone, but how well you connect with the person. This contest reminded me how important it is to say “hello” to the ones that matter. To all my friends, this is from me, from my heart.
