SC S25W2: Drawing Shonen Anime.

Greetings everyone. It's been a whole new ride of discovery at the steemit challenge S25W2 and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Choose your favorite character from the Shonen anime genre and mention which series they belong to.

This week, I'm going to be drawing Luffy, from one piece because I feel like a pirate always trying to discover some hidden treasure in me whenever I draw. Let's get into the drawing proper.

Here are the list of Tools I'll be using;

• A plain white paper.
• HB pencil.
• Black Eye Pencil
• Red Crayon.

First I'm going to be drawing an outline for the basic features of the head and neck. First the oval shape for the head, the hair, the ears, and the neck outline.Its important to draw the hair here so that the hat won't be an issue and of course it will give me better directions when drawing the hat.
Once I'm done with this, I draw the signature hat, the brows and luffy's shoulders. I'm saving the details of the face for last as one very important feature of shine anime is the facial expression and I really

Moving on from here, I'm adding more details to the face - the eyes, nose, and the wide mouth. I'm also putting details to the signature hat and adding more parts of the shoulder.

The drawing is almost completed at this point, and what's left is to begin shading.

First I shade the rim of the hat red, and his singlet, and then move on to luffy's hair. His hair is black, I couldn't find a black crayon I had to improvise with a black eye pencil putting the touches slowly until I achieved this look.
