Best practice for rainy season
Greetings, friends! Welcome once again to the month of July, a month we all know as the month of continuous rain, a month of cold, and where business tends to slow down, and lots of starvation, all of which will be explained as you read on.
In Nigeria, especially some of us in the Southern part of the country, we have been experiencing what may seem to be a 60-80% rain on a daily basis, and as a result of that, we have been experiencing intense cold, mostly at night.
So, therefore, the essence of my article is to provide a little enlightenment on the best practices that we can adopt to cope with this cold weather ☁️.
- Dress Warmly and in Layers
- Limited outdoor exposure
- Engaging in exercise
Dress Warmly and in Layers |

This is where jackets and sweaters comes in handy, as a result of excessive cold it is important to dress warmly and in multiple layers of cold to avoid unnecessary exposure of the body to too much cold, this practice will help in keeping the body warm and also regulate the body's temperature
Limited outdoor exposure |
---|
Also it can be wise to limit our outdoor exposure, because most especially when it is raining you will observe that outside will be very cold with lots of breeze of cold so it would be best to stay indoors to avoid exposing the body to too much cold.
Exercise |

Engaging in exercise can also help regulate the body's temperature. For instance, even when you are feeling cold, but try running for a while; after some time of running, you will observe that you will start sweating a bit, and at that point, you won't feel the cold again.
So, exercise helps regulate the body's temperature, especially in cold seasons, and besides that, exercise as a whole is an important practice that should be encouraged.
Now, we all know some of the various practices that can be done to be able to cope with cold weather, but earlier I mentioned the fact that in the rainy season, business seems to slow down with lots of starvation; well, let's look into that now.
Rainy Season And Our Businesses |
---|
Like they say, "Rain is not a friend to a businessman," and if you look into the phrase, you will observe that it is very much true. On a rainy day like today here in Uyo, customers will not be able to move out freely to patronize businesses, which, of course, can be very bad for an entrepreneur or a businessman.
So, this process tends to slow down businesses and also promote hunger and starvation, especially for those running a small-sized business, because no sales means no profit, and no profit means no meal for the business owner, and that we call starvation.
So the best remedy for this or the best practices to avoid this is to always have a contentious plan, as a business owner we should always save up in case of an emergency so you can use your savings to sort yourself out remember "A penny save is a penny earn"
This will be the end of my article and I really appreciate you all stopping by, stay safe people, thanks and remain blessed
