I am back and delighted to participate in this challenge. I would have done this challenge more earlier than this. I just finished my final paper and decided to participate in this contest. School no easy.

Introduce the song you sang and tell us why you chose the song

The song I sang is titled “Ancient of Days (As Old As You Are)”. This is a powerful declaration of God's eternal and unchanging nature, emphasized in the memorable lines:

The song I am referring to is a popular Nigerian gospel worship song often sung in churches and gospel gatherings, especially during worship sessions. Ancient of Days is a biblical name for God, showing that He existed before time began. The song praises God for His unchanging nature, eternal existence, and faithfulness.
The original song Ancient of Days was written by Gary Sadler and Jamie Harvill in 1991, based on the biblical imagery from Daniel 7 .

Why I Chose the Song
I chose this song because it has heartfelt lines. This line “As old as You are, You remain the same” really speak to my heart. They remind me of who God is, God is unchanging, ever-present, and always faithful. These truths have been so important in my walk with Him, especially in times when I needed to hold on to something steady.

Why did you join this competition, and what's your view about it?

When I saw @bossj23 post about singing competition. I was happy but my exams came. I joined this competition because I honestly just love singing, it reminds me of my secondary school days back then where me, @us-andrew, and@bossj23 use to sing, it was quite amazing and so much fun. It’s something that makes me feel alive, and when I saw the chance to be part of something like this, I thought — why not?. This was not the song I planned because my exams came in. But in the next stage, I will drop my hit. This contest is a fun way to step out of my comfort zone and see how far I can go.

To be real with you, I think the competition is a great idea. It’s not just about winning — it’s about growing, learning from people, and doing what you love. It’s helped me stay creative and a little more confident too. I’m really glad I joined.

Share suggestions for improvement, if any, and ask any questions that bother you

My Suggestions for Improvement:

• It would be nice if we got feedback after each round so that we know how the contestants did whether good or bad and what we can work on.

• Will there be reward for effort, not just for winners, could encourage more people to keep trying.

• A more reminders would help people stay on track, especially those that are busy with school or other stuff.

Questions That Bother Me:

• Will there be more upcoming contest like this after the contest ends?

• Are there plans to help us improve, like maybe a short tips.

• Is there any rules about what kind of songs we are to post?
