Hello my steemit friends My name is Sana Khan and i am a fifth-semester cardiology student. As a future cardiologist i am always excited to learn more abouts the humans heart and its functions.In this week’s echo assignments i had to draw the coronary artery and shows how it supplies blood to diferent parts of the heart. It was a very interestings and educational tasks that helped me understands the importance of coronary circulations in keeping the heart healthy and active.

The coronary arteries play a very important role in the heart. These arteries supply oxygen rich blood to the heart muscles. Without this blood supply the heart cannot work properly. The heart just likes any other organs in our body needs its own blood supply to functions. The mains coronry arteries are the rights coronary artry (RCA) and the lefts coronary artery (LCA). Boths comes from the aortas the main artery of the bodys. When i started drawings i first made the shapes of the heart and marked the aorta at the top. From there i drew the two main branches: the right and left coronary arteries. The right coronary artery (RCA) runs along the rights sides of the heart and supplies blood to the right atrium right ventricles and the bottom portions of both ventricles. It also gives off an importants branch caled the posterior descending artery (PDA) which supplies the back sides of the heart.

The left coronary artery (LCA) divides into two majors branches: the left anteriort descending artery (LAD) and the left circamflex artery (LCX). The LAD supplies the front part of the left ventricle and the septum which is the wall between the right and left sides of the heart. The LCX goes around the left side of the heart and supplies blood to the left atrium and the back of the left ventricle. While making this diagram i used different colors to make it easier to understand. I also labeled each parts carefully includings the chambers of the heart mains arteries and the areas they supply. This helped me memorize their names and functions clearly.

This assignment was a great learning experience for me. Drawing the coronary artery mades it easier to understand how importants the blood supply is for the heart’s function. If any of these arteries get blocked it can leads to serious heart problems likes angina or a heart attacks. That is why doctors always focus on keaping these arteries healthy throughs a balanced diet exercise and regulars checkups. As a cardiology student i found this assignment very helpful in improving my knowledge and drawing skills. It remindid me why i chosed this field to help peoples protected their hearts and live healthier lives. I enjoyed completing this echo assignments and looks forward to learning more abouts the amazing structure of the heart in the coming weeks.
