Betterlife /The diary game // Celebrating the Aqiqah ceremony of my son Rezwan Haque // 12 October 2025

It was a very happy day for me because on this day I decided to name my only child by performing his aqiqah.

Aqiqa is a very important chapter in every person's life. Everyone should perform Aqiqa. According to Islamic law, it is prescribed that Aqiqa should be performed with two goats for boys and one goat for girls. My son's father and I purchased two goats for our son and performed Aqiqa.

All my relatives came to our house. They were all very happy. My elder brother-in-law, elder sister-in-law, nieces and nephews all attended the event.

Early in the morning, the butchers slaughtered two goats. Although the butchers had been called in advance, the meat was then prepared.

Then my husband and elder sister-in-law divided all the meat through digital distribution. They made a list and divided the meat. They distributed the meat to relatives, poor and needy people.

Then we all make rice bread together. My mother-in-law boils the rice flour. My elder brother and I make the bread together.

The children were playing together. They were playing mischievously under the pretense of playing.

At night, my niece sits down to read with my son. She writes with her son. She gives the boy chalk.

The day was spent in great joy. We all enjoyed the day very much. The day will be memorable for me.
