Join the Voice of Steemit Singing Competition

What do you like about this singing competition? Do you think it's an opportunity to showcase your talent or learn from vocal coaches	•

I like the fact that this singing competition will promote music on the steemit platform, in turn, promoting more video upload on the platform...
Before, it used to be a thing of writing 3000 word count before your post would be regarded as a good quality post. But now video is taking over that. And with this competition by @bossj23 ,it just the beginning. More video content ate evolving.
I'm also very excited that one of our secondary school days dreams are coming into reality. As me @bossj23 , @sampson01 use to sing and host mini singing contest in class...
This little thing we're trying to push out to the world will make waves soon. And you'll be a witness.

It's an opportunity for me to showcase my talents, as well as learning new things from other singers and the judges..
I just hope they'll take it easy on us.

Sing the chorus of any song you know and tell us why you think you can be a winner in the competition.	•

Why I think I'll win is that, firstly I have a good voice. And I will train it so that I can sing better during the contest.
I'll listen to vocal coaches and improve my singing with their techniques. During these months of the singing contest, I will also avoid doing things that would make me loose my voice.
People always say that I have a nice voice. But I haven't been trained on how to sing.
I think this contest would ignite that training and I will emerge as the winner. E go shock some people.😂😂

What do you aim in achieving during the competition? The reward, vocal training from coaches, the visibility orrrrr?	•

Yeah, obviously the reward. What are we here for. You think it's a joke?😂😂
It's huge bro...
If I get that , I can do something meaningful for myself.
Plus the additional benefits that comes with it.

The visibility; many people do not know that I can sing. But during the course of this contest, they'll get to know me better.
I'm talented in divers ways . And this is just one of them.

Also, I'll get to learn how to improve on my singing to even a stage without flaws. This , the Coaches will make sure of.

What suggestions do you have regarding this upcoming singing competition?	•

I have suggestions which I will like everyone to hear me out on;

The coaches and Judges:
The coaches should be trained persons . Not just people who would come to listen to us sing, and choose who their favourite . But people with understanding as to how singing competitions and judgement should be.
We shouldn't have biased coaches and Judges.
Even if the judges are not in the platform. We can use this opportunity to bring them in ( Sign them up, get them ready before the competition starts fully).
Also , I didn't hear any reward for the Coaches and judges. I want to believe that @bossj23 thought about that too. If he didn't, he should. Because they wouldn't come, serve and go empty handed, even if they insist .

Contest time and date speculation:
I'm currently sitting for an examination which would last for about three or four weeks. Please, I want to suggest that the running time and date should be made in order to favor people that have school work load like me. @bossj23 knows about this. And of course, he's also taking his exams😁....

Reward:
In as much as the winners would be rewarded, I thing that all contestants should have what to smile home with.
Whether they win or not. I'm not always comfortable seeing people who have put in enough energy and effort to do something ,then the end, because they were screened out, left with nothing.
It's not always encouraging....
Maybe the Voice of Steemit team will try and look into all the suggestion I have given. And give reasonable replies.

Contestants: I will like all contestants to adhere to the rules and regulations of the platform (Steemit) . Follow guidelines concerning the contest. And not do anything to attract punishments of any kind.
Remember you don't have to be professional.
You can sing in any language of your choice. All we want is to hear you sing..
