Who will be my next of kin?

I have only been alive for 19 years, but at this young age, I have understood one thing:

When money and land become a matter of personal interest, the sweetness of relatives often turns bitter. In our society, the word Next Of Kin is not just a legal term, it often becomes a cause of ego and quarrels within the family.

According to my pov, Next of Kin is the person who legally becomes entitled to our property or responsibilities if something happens to us. It is often the wife, child, or parent, sibling. This concept seems simple, but in real life, it creates a lot of confusion often when there is tension in the family.

My own house is a living example of this. On my mother's side, my grandfather have lands because of these lands, there is tension between my maternal uncle & aunt. Everyone wants their share and hearts are filled with jealousy and grievances. Now imagine if someone announces in such an environment that such a person is next of Kin, then the fighting and chaos will increase even more.

Is it necessary to have next of kin? I think that yes, it is necessary because there is no trust in life. If we do not leave any record of our property documents or savings, then later legal fights will make it even worse but this does not mean that we should spend our lives in tension about who is getting the right. Many people say that everything should eat and do not leave anything, but I think that this selfish approach. Criteria for choosing next of kin According to me, it is not only about relatives but also about trust. The person you trust the most, who fulfills your work honestly and who truly thinks about the family, can be your best choice. There is no gender difference in this. It only depends on loyalty and maturity.

In my opinion, next of kin should be changed, if you see next of kin being dishonest in his duty or if the relationship with you deteriorates or if you feel that he or she will not take care of your family, you have right to rethink about your decision. Life changes, relationships change, people change, so this decision can also change and we should always think good for our loved ones after us. So whenever a positive step is needed in life, don't be afraid to take it. If you are afraid of people's thoughts that people will criticize that earlier your thoughts were about someone else and now you are changing your thoughts, then people's job is to make sentences. If you leave a bad person with your loved ones as a guardian, even after you leave, everyone will say bad things about you, that you did this action badly so don't make your actions bad, and only do what you think is right for the sake of Allah.
