When last did you say hello to your friend?

Hello steemians, it is a pleasure to join you all and talk about friendship, most of us understand what friendship is all about while some of us are yet to know.

Friends to me are those who are present in the time of joy and sadness. In my case I don't have only one friend who is dear to me, two people are friends indeed. These are @anthony002 and @ikechukw77. The reason why I chose these individuals as my friends is that they have been really supportive of me, giving advice that has continued to better my life every day.

@ikechukw77 is a childhood friend who has always been assisting me with advice to live a better and more sincere life. Amongst all my friends he has been the closest not even Anthony has been that close but in the early stages of becoming friends with Anthony, he has made a positive impact, also showing me how friendship works. I chose Ikechukwu as an amigo because he is more social, caring, and he helped me become a social individual because I don't vibe with many people.

@anthony002 was just a normal guy I usually see once or twice in the fields with other people, but we meet fully a day I was setting at a chair on the field where he came and sat down, from that day we started talking and became friends, the next week he told me about steemit, at the time I didn't have a smartphone. So he noticed I was interested in creating content and I told him that whenever I get a phone I will create my introductory post and begin in earnest. It was through Anthony that I got to understand the world aside from staying in the barracks because he often left to visit his sisters staying outside the barracks. I chose Anthony as a friend because he is a wise individual and does things with strategies, apart from that he is well-behaved and knows how to carry himself when with other people.

The most important thing was that as friends they both looked out for me and I did the same.

When I don't hear from my friend I feel alright because I know they are in safe hands, I can only get worried 😫 when it's to a long time since I have heard from them. My friends are part of the individuals who have shaped my life positively, your parents will advise you and that advice will be determined by those you keep as company. When I don't hear from my friends for a long time I feel restless and eager to see or call them to make sure they are doing alright.

There are actually three main qualities which I find important before someone becomes my friend, and these are;

Trustworthiness, Common values, Loyalty, Empathy. I usually make friends with people who possess these qualities especially loyalty. For someone to be loyal, it implies that that individual is ready and always there to stand by you through thick and thin. When must remember that they must be truthful for a solid relationship, and that means no lies because those lies are like a house that has been built with used materials.

I usually make sure that I trust my friends and in turn, they trust me too. Having a friend who possesses the same ideology (common goal) as you helps you move forward to greater things in life. Which is when I made Anthony and Ikechukwu my friends. I also value empathy in any relationship because it is the second 🥈 foundation to long-lasting relationships after trust. This all deals with your friend showing concern about your life and also understanding how you react to certain things, like avoiding triggering your anger 🤬 or making you sad.

My niggas, I want to say thanks for being my friend, you have added joy to my life and I hope I have done the same, you all can't be replaced, I value the moments we have shared, the good and hard times make us who we are today. Where are you Stay strong and know that I care, you will find a way out a any hard time amigos. Like Anthony used to say "Stay chizzed up" and like Ikechukwu used to say "The richest 🤑 man should come and open the door"
