Greetings to all Steemians, today I'll share with you the area around the Lhoksukon airport, also known as the Nibong cluster airport, located in North Aceh.

Lhoksukon Airport is a domestic airport managed by the private sector under the supervision of the Medan Regional Airport Authority. Located in Ampeh Village, Tanah Luhur District, this airport offers facilities such as an asphalt runway, if I'm not mistaken, approximately 1,116 meters long.
This airport was recently inaugurated by the Governor of Aceh, Muzakir Manaf, to support upstream oil and gas activities by PT Pembangunan Global Energi (PGE) in North Aceh. This inauguration reflects the Aceh government's commitment to strengthening energy sector connectivity and demonstrating the region's readiness to manage natural resources independently.
Overall, Lhoksukon Airport currently serves as a strategic logistics hub supporting the local energy sector. Although the infrastructure is still modest, it is sufficient to support cluster operations for the oil and gas industry in North Aceh. It is hoped that further development will be possible in the future, even incorporating civil aviation and other services.
