Divisional Cricket Stadium,Rajshahi.

Today I will review the Divisional Cricket Stadium of my beloved Rajshahi city. It is located in Terkhadia, Rajshahi city, Bangladesh. The stadium is famous for its beautiful environment, it was built in 2004. It is managed by the National Sports Council. After the stadium was built, the group stage matches of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup were held in 2004 and the South Asian Games matches were held in 2010. Since then, this stadium has been used for various cricket matches held at the national level. This stadium is used as the home ground of the Rajshahi Divisional Cricket Team.

It is located next to the main road of Terkhadia City Bypass in Rajshahi. Before entering the stadium gate, you will see the words Divisional Cricket Stadium, Rajshahi written in big letters. Sculptures of bats, balls, and stamps have been built at the main entrance of the stadium.

The Rajshahi Divisional Cricket Stadium is spread over a vast area. After crossing the main entrance and entering inside, you will see the parking area. Various vehicles of the Sports Council have been parked here. The parking area is open to all those coming from outside. The vehicles used for various transport of the stadium are standing in the parking area.

There are green plants around the stadium which further enhances the beauty of the stadium. The environment inside the stadium will attract your eyes. Clean and pleasant environment. The stadium is equipped with modern management inside. There are CCTV cameras at various places to ensure the security of the stadium. This stadium has a floodlight tower, which illuminates the stadium during night events. The lights in the tower are usually powerful floodlights which are installed to provide high light.

There is a comfortable seating area for the spectators, where the spectators can sit and enjoy the game. This stadium has a seating capacity of about 15,000 spectators. The dimensions of the Rajshahi Divisional Cricket Stadium are 186m × 138m, an oval-shaped field. There are spectator galleries around this huge field. A spectator gallery is very important for watching the game in the stadium.

There is a seating arrangement on the second floor of the stadium, from where the entire stadium field can be seen very clearly. There is an iron staircase to go up to the second floor, after crossing this staircase you can go to the gallery on the second floor. Cricket is a popular game. It is really rare for cricket lovers to sit in such a comfortable place and enjoy the game.

Rajshahi Divisional Cricket Stadium is a venue for domestic and international cricket matches in Bangladesh. In the picture you can see the practice nets of the cricket stadium. This stadium provides practice facilities and other facilities for the players who come to play.

The picture shows a cricket pitch, which is prepared for a match. The wickets have been marked on the pitch and a part has been covered, as if to protect it from the adverse weather conditions before the game. Various initiatives are being taken at the stadium keeping in mind the convenience of the players. It is known as a venue for cricket matches at the domestic or international level.

The above picture shows a part of the stadium. Where a scoreboard is observed, the scoreboard is an important part of cricket. The scoreboard mentions runs, overs, wickets, targets, etc. during the match.

Preparations underway for cricket match

There is no weekly closure because the players' practice activities are conducted here constantly. The stadium is open from 10 am to 5 pm. However, various works are currently ongoing in the stadium. It is known that a match will be held in this stadium next week, in preparation for which the work of decorating the stadium is underway, as you can see in the picture.

Personal Experience :

Ticket prices are determined by match. Since domestic and international matches are held at the Rajshahi Divisional Cricket Stadium, the ticket prices here are comparatively low. Ticket prices for BPL matches are set at 450-500 bdt in steem price 29.9-33.3 steem and for domestic matches at 150-200 bdt in steem price 9.9-13.2 steem.

After reviewing the stadium in detail, I would say that cricket lovers should definitely come to this stadium and enjoy cricket. The fun of sitting in a comfortable place and enjoying cricket is really captivating. The stadium is clean and is a great place for 100% entertainment.
