My landlord and I

Hello friends,

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am well too. At first, I thank you so much, @okere-bowing. To organize a very nice competition. Because by participating in this competition, I can share my opinion and the experience of staying at home.

Who is a landlord?

It seems to me that those who rent houses are businessmen who earn money by renting out their rooms. I have lived in rented houses for many years, but I have had different experiences from one rented house to another with those who rent houses.

The job of those who rent houses is to count the money between the 1st and the 10th of the month and take it into their hands. I have seen this in every landlord; they are not willing to sacrifice any problem. Maybe one or two landlords are good. But in most cases, it is like renting their houses is their real business and the only way to earn money. But many good character people rent houses. Basically, their purpose is to earn money by renting houses.

How long have you stayed in someone's house? Was the place favorable, or did you manage?

I lived in a rented house in a place for 11 years, that place was my favorite place, my birthplace. I don't know how much the landlord liked it then, but I liked that place very much. I stayed there for a long time.

However, later I rented a house in another place. When I was pregnant five years ago, I lived in a rented house with two bedrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a small balcony. I was always sick during my pregnancy. I liked my house very much. But the landlord absolutely disliked me.

I had to leave my house when I was so sick because I was vomiting repeatedly during my pregnancy and I had so many doubts about whether my rooms would be clean. He used to talk to me a lot about this, he thought that if guests came to his house in anticipation of the new baby, his house would become very dirty. He used to treat me very badly, so I was forced to leave that house.

Do you think it's wise to stay in the same compound with your landlord?

I never agree to living with a landlord. It is better not to have a compound, because those who rent a house always find fault with the tenants, and if you live with them, your faults will be more visible under the same roof, which will create a lot of problems.

Don't hesitate to talk about food, travel, high electricity bills, water consumption, or even your clothes; everything will create problems. So, it is much better not to live together.

Do you think the tenant has the right to sue the landlord over negligence of his responsibilities?

There is a saying that patience can make you great. Since you are the tenant, the landlord is the owner, and you are staying in the landlord's house in exchange for money. If you see that there are many problems during your stay, there is damage that the landlord has no opinion on them, then you can tell your landlord. In the first case, you have to be patient; later, if there is no way out, even after being patient. Then you can definitely file a case. But my advice is that in the first case, it is much better not to file a case, court. However, to keep yourself safe, you can file a case.

Dear friends, I have tried to answer every question I have. Of course, there may be mistakes, please look at it with forgiveness.

Saludos apreciada amiga.

Dear friend, thank you very much for your very nice comment on my post and yes, you are right, not every landlord is the same. Tenants have a lot of responsibilities to protect their property. I agree with you. I like your comment.
