Main entrance

Hello steemian,
Karamjal is a popular travel and tourism center in the Sundarbans. It is located on the banks of the Pashur River in Dakop Upazila of Khulna district. Karamjal is basically a wildlife breeding and conservation center, where tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of the Sundarbans up close. The entrance here is this gate. It is entered through this.

location board

This is a welcome board. The name of the place is written here. Everything is done according to the principle here. Everyone follows this board and moves around. Everyone goes and takes pictures in front of this board. I took pictures of my colleagues here. After taking pictures here, I started visiting the entire area. Then I kept visiting various places of interest.

Crocodile breeding center

Inside this cage, there are small baby crocodiles that cannot be seen with the naked eye. The crocodiles that fall sick are brought here and given babies through vaccination. Most of the toothed crocodiles that are bred here are extinct species of crocodiles. Usually, people from the Forest Department and the Livestock Department do them here. If you go on a trip here, you might see large crocodiles at that time. After the baby crocodiles hatch, they are thrown into the river the next day.

Crocodile eggs and tiger claws

This sanctuary has preserved the bodies of many animals. One of them is the crocodile egg. Many people want to see the crocodile egg but it is not possible, which is why they have been given the opportunity to see it by keeping the crocodile egg here. The footprints of the mother next to the small child are seen here. This scene has truly become very rare. Currently, there are 112 tigers in the Sundarbans, a list of them can be found here according to the fruit print.

Sundari tree has pneumatophores (breathing roots)

The Sundari tree, the main tree of the Sundarbans, has a special type of respiratory root. These respiratory roots are called Pneumatophores. Usually, the Sundari tree grows in waterlogged and muddy places. Where there is not enough oxygen flow in the soil. Due to this, the tree cannot get oxygen from below the soil. To solve this problem, the roots of the Sundari tree come up from the soil in the opposite direction, that is, upwards. These are called respiratory roots. These respiratory roots help the tree to collect oxygen directly from the air. As a result, the tree can easily survive and grow. Therefore, Karamjal Travel Place has provided an opportunity to see these respiratory roots.

Deer breeding center

Several sick deer and extinct species of deer have been captured here. The young are bred among the extinct species of deer. The extinct species of deer are later released back into the forest so that they can maintain the forest environment and maintain the balance of nature. There is a feeding system here, if you want, you can buy food with money and feed it to the deer. Most of the deer were Mayabi deer, here Mayabi deer and one of the British Republics are caught in Bangladesh.

Map collected in the Karamjal area

This map shows the geographical features of different regions of Bangladesh with the help of lights. If the return traveler wants, they can see parts of different districts and it is usually clearly shown with lights, for which no charge is taken here. Since I went from Dinajpur, I saw the map of Dinajpur which is located at the end of Bangladesh.

Travel ship

Finally, after finishing the trip, we returned to this ship. The name of this ship was Alexa. It was the most premium ship here. Overall, my trip was amazing. After finishing the trip, I went home. I hope you liked the description of this place.
