Betterlife - The Diary Game | 23 May, 2025 | Eating new seasonal fruits and visiting the market for a cloth.

Assalamu Alaikum friends, I'm here to share a new diary entry from my Friday day off. It's fruit season now. This time of year is called fruit season because mangoes, jackfruits, lychees and other fruits are available. Some fruits might not be as well-known as others, but they are very delicious.

After breakfast, my father brought home some palm fruits. They look a lot like the soft white inner layer of a coconut. I cut two of them and got six palm seeds. I cleaned the outer layer of the seeds well and put them in a bowl. They were quite tasty.

Since it was a holiday, I didn't have much work outside. So, I spent my morning inside. After that, I got ready to perform the Jummah prayer.

Two days ago, I ordered a perfume roll-on online, but I hadn't had a chance to use it. Before going to the mosque, I took out the perfume and applied a little. I really liked the scent.

After returning from the mosque, I had my lunch and then tried to rest for a while. In the afternoon, after performing the Asr prayer, my elder sister asked me to help her buy a hijab that matched the color of her dress from the market. I had some free time in the afternoon, so I went to the Alankar Shopping Complex market to buy the hijab.

I don't have much idea about women's clothing. To ensure I could match the color correctly, I brought my sister's dress's scarf with me. I first went to the second floor of the market and visited several shops. However, the desired color wasn't matching.

After visiting a few more shops, I finally found the exact matching colored hijab. The shopkeeper initially asked for a higher price. After bargaining with him, I bought the hijab for 250 BDT/13.8 STEEM.

I didn't have any more shopping at the market, so I left. It was almost evening, and it would take me more time to get home, so I visited a restaurant named Alif to eat something.

I've visited this restaurant many times before, and their tea is very popular for its taste. I also ordered a paratha. The paratha with tea tasted good, especially the tea. My food bill came to 35 BDT/1.94 STEEM.

From there, I returned home by public transportation. Then, I freshened up, performed the Isha prayer, and finished my dinner. As of today I'm leaving here. Wish you all good health, everyone.
