In my free time i like to read posts take part in contests and write about my experiences. Steemit is a platform that gives me the chance to do all these things and also to connect with people from many countries. Today i am happy to write my entry for this contest.

How did you discover Steemit?

I discovered Steemit through my class friend. She gave me the idea of joining this platform. At first i was not very serious about it but she explained to me that it is a place where you can write share your ideas and even earn rewards. I became curious and decided to try. When i joined i saw manys interesting posts from peoples all arounds the world. Slowly i started writings too and when i received my first upvotes i felts very happy and motivated. I realized that Steemit is not justs a social media sites but also a community where peoples respect and supports each other.

Do you take Steemit as a full-time work or you blog anytime you have chance?

For me Steemit is not a full-time job. I am a student and my main focus is on my studies. But whenever i get free time i like to come here and write. Sometimes after classes when i feel tired i open Steemit and read posts from other people. It gives me relaxation and fresh ideas. Writing on Steemit feels like a hobby and a creative break for me. I do not post every single day but i try to stay active whenever i can. The best thing is that Steemit gives freedom you can write and share whenever you have the chance and there is no pressure.

What are the things you have achieved with Steemit earnings?

Steemit earnings have helped me in small but important ways. With my rewards i bought some personal items and it made me feel proud because i earned them with my own writing. Sometimes i also used the earnings to contribute at home. Apart from money i feel that my biggest achievement from Steemit is confidence. Before Steemit i was shy about writing but now i feel more confident. I have also achieved friendships with people from different countries and i learned many new things by reading their posts. So my achievements are not only financial but also personal growth learning and happiness.

Is Steemit meeting your expectations or there’s something they need to do?

Yes Steemit is meeting most of my expectations. When i joined i wanted a platform where i could share my thoughts improve my writing and get some rewards. Steemit gave me all of these. But i also feel there are some things that can improve. For example new users sometimes feel lost when they join because they don’t know the rules. If Steemit could give more simple guidance for beginners it would help them stay longer. Also rewards are not always balanced. Sometimes a new writer works very hard but does not get much support. If Steemit can make the system fairer for everyone it will encourage more people to join and stay. Still i am very satisfied with what i have found here.

How can you convince someone to join Steemit without too much explanation?

If i want to convince someone to join Steemit i will simply say: “Steemit is a place where your voice matters. You can write share your pictures join contests and even earn rewards while doing something you enjoy.” I think this short explanation is enough. People want a platform where they are valued and Steemit is exactly that. I would also show them my own posts and rewards because real examples are always more powerful than long explanations. When they see my happiness and progress they will surely feel interested to join.
