Gazipur Intersection

in Steem For Lifestyleyesterday

One of the most well-known streets in Bangladesh is called Gazipur Intersection. This is called chourasta. Four roads basically meet at the Gazipur Intersection. The road to Gazipur connects here from the east. The road from Tangail to Gazipur meets from the west. The Gazipur to Mymensingh road connects from the north. And the road to Duet Campus meets from the northeast. In total, four roads come together here to form an intersection. Stay with me to know more details about Gazipur Intersection.

Flyovers are spread all around the intersection of four roads. This Gazipur Intersection plays a very important role in reducing traffic congestion on the road. However, sometimes traffic jams occur due to the unwanted crowding of vehicles here. However, traffic police are always deployed on the roads for safety. This Gazipur Intersection is directly connected to Dhaka, Tangail and Mymensingh districts.

A history of Bangladesh was written about this Gazipur Intersection. That is, the first Jagrata Chowrangi movement started from this place before the War of Independence. The people of Gazipur district were the first to jump into the movement in Bangladesh through their fighting spirit. On that occasion, a portrait was created in the middle of the Gazipur Intersection. It still exists in this place.

There are four more flyovers at the Gazipur Intersection, where four roads meet. If you start counting here, you will find eight roads existing here. The streets of the grounds are somewhat congested, as various hawker markets are bustling here. However, if you look at the flyover, you will not notice any traffic jams here. The car can move at a steady speed in a very orderly manner. Note that as a pedestrian, you cannot climb onto the flyover.

To enjoy the flyover road, you need to take the designated transport. Various forms of transportation operate on the flyover road, including buses and private cars. Freight vehicles are also seen plying here. However, we continue to review the following situations. Here four roads have come from four places and come together. All in all, Gazipur Intersection was born. I have mentioned four pictures of the four roads that meet in the picture below.

In the above picture, you can see four roads coming from all directions. People come here from different routes to reach their destinations. However, you will always see administration personnel for security at Gazipur Intersection. I noticed a traffic police box here. It was the Gazipur Metropolitan Police Box. Administrative security is provided by the entire Gazipur District Metropolitan Police. There are always traffic police present to control traffic on the roads.

You will see a police box at Gazipur Intersection, if you come here. It is located along Shimultali Road from Gazipur Intersection. It is mentioned as the office of the Gazipur Assistant Police Commissioner. In the picture below, you can see a small office box of the Assistant Police Commissioner's office. It is originally known as the police box.

Let us now look at some of the transport parking facilities located within the Gazipur Intersection. You will see many battery-powered auto rickshaws parked here. They basically wait for passengers who have come from far away to be transported by bus to their destination. Although it is not legal, the government has maintained this transportation system by providing a specified amount of money to the authorities. However, this has been a great benefit for the people, because without auto rickshaws, passengers would have to suffer.

Battery-powered auto rickshaws are parked under the flyover. And no bus transport operates under the flyover. Not only that, but you will also see some shops here. There are some tea shops, especially in Gazipur Intersection. They occupy a very small space and are located next to the pillars. Here, the driver or waiting passengers have tea, cigarettes, etc. In the two pictures below, you can see auto rickshaws and some tea shops.

Gazipur Intersection has been built to ensure the convenience of the transportation system. Currently, work is underway to make it more modern. Once the Gazipur Intersection is completed, it will ensure a more modern and safer transportation system. I have mentioned some more information about Gazipur Intersection below.

Such a great way to link up roads. It just needs a little more touch of modernization like you said and it will be a tourist attraction where people would love to take pictures of. I am just know about this Gazipur intersection from your post.
