Uttar Hugra Govt. Primary School, Tangail
My primary school, Uttar Hugra Govt. Primary School. I studied here for five long years. Today I will pin my favorite primary school on Steem Atlas, it's a matter of joy. This school is located very close to my house. This school is located in North Hugra village of Hugra Union in Tangail Sadar Upazila. Stay with me to know more about Uttar Hugra Govt. Primary School.
Photo of the main academic building from the front.
Uttar Hugra Govt. Primary School was established in 1987. The founder of this primary school is Alhaj Musa Sarkar. This was the only primary school at that time for the development of rural education. This was the only school in our village of Uttor Hugra at that time. In any case, Alhaj Musa Sarkar built this institution on his own land and with his own initiative to establish a school here.
This school's activities run from 9 am to 4 pm. All students in the area study here and advance to higher education. The current number of students at this school is between 500 and 550. There are 9 teachers to provide education to all students. And there are two employees responsible for the care and maintenance of the school. Let's review the building's balcony.
It looks very shiny now. Now, this school building offers a captivating view with a touch of creativity. Each part of the wall is decorated with colorful artwork and various scenes. I enjoyed the colorful scenes on the walls a lot as a child. Now the wall scenes have been updated and presented in a more interesting way.
This primary school has 7 classrooms. There are two rooms for the first grade, two rooms for the second grade, and one classroom for the third and fifth grade. I captured some pictures after entering the classroom. The classrooms are square, each measuring approximately 1,500 square feet in length and width. There are high benches and low benches for students to sit on. Look at the classroom in the picture below.
Whiteboards and bulletin boards in each classroom
Classes are conducted with whiteboards and markers in each classroom. When I studied at this school, classes were conducted using blackboards and chalk. Anyway, I really liked the changes at this school. I was enjoying the classrooms of my childhood. Here I enjoyed the murals and the mesmerizing views.
The electrical system in the classrooms is not very well developed. However, I am also very happy to see this development in the electrical system. Because when I studied here, there was no electricity system. It can be said that it is much better now than before. I saw that there were 6 electric fans and 4 lamps in each classroom of the school. I enjoyed the many motivational quotes on the classroom walls. I have mentioned the motivational quotes along with the pictures below.
Simple electrical system in the classroom.
Wall paintings and motivational quotes
School students are made to recite a pledge every day. It was very different from the oath I had taken before. In the picture below, the oath is written on the front side before climbing the stairs. The oath mentioned some distorted things that the previous authoritarian government forced on every institution. Anyway, I have mentioned the oath below.
I swear in a loud voice that I will not let the blood of the martyrs go in vain, that I will love the country, and that I will devote all my strength to the overall welfare of the people of the country. We will build a Bangladesh with a developed and non-communal spirit based on the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. May God give me strength.
The swear word in front of you while climbing the stairs.
The oath I took here when I was younger was a little different and didn't mention any names. Because countless individuals contributed to the non-communal spirit and independence of Bangladesh. But the previous authoritarian government forced the oath to be changed. Anyway, I also recited the school oath. I was also very impressed by the paintings and valuable messages on the school walls.
The school has a small building, which is used only as a washroom for students. The small building mentioned below is used as a washroom for students. Anyway, the washrooms or toilets here are quite well maintained. The school authorities are very conscious about the cleanliness of the students. You can see the school washroom building in the picture below.
Improved toilet facilities for students
There is a small playground in front of the school. The field is surrounded by walls on the north and south sides. There is a construction work going on to build a wall around it which is not yet finished. Anyway, I am happy to write about my first school in life, Uttar Hugra Govt. Primary School. Even more happy that it will now be featured on the Steem Atlas map.
