Today, I will tell you about the famous government hospital in Sahiwal, where you can get your treatment free of cost. Your ID card works here like a health card. You can get free therapy through your ID card. This hospital is a civil hospital, also known as Sahiwal Teaching Hospital.

First of all, let's talk about its interest. It has three main gates. The first gate is used only for coming out. The second gate is used for going in. Similarly, the third gate is also used for coming out. If you are on foot, you can pass through any gate, but if you are in a vehicle, you can only pass through the middle gate.

Similarly, the nephrology ward is separate, which means that you will see a separate ward for each department. There is a separate system for each thing. If you want to get anything treated, like if you want to get your kidneys treated, you will go to the nephrology ward. Your slip will be made from there, and you will be admitted there. If you have to have an operation, that will also be done there.

There are many accidents on our roads. To get out of these accidents, ambulances go from here. If the patient is not seriously injured, they are treated there and then returned. Similarly, they have arranged an elevator for the sick people because they cannot climb the stairs, so an elevator has been arranged for them. There are also stairs for the younger generation, who can take the stairs because the elevator is very crowded. Similarly, there is also a ramp along the way. There are no stairs on this ramp, so if you want to take a patient with a stretcher, you can choose this route. These three things are in one place so that you can choose whichever one you want with ease.

There is a separate department for wheelchairs and stretchers, where you submit your ID card, and then you get a wheelchair. The advantage of this is that when you take your patient, your work is complete. You start going back home. Then you submit that wheelchair here and take your ID card. It often happens that patients take wheelchairs from hehimbut they do not return them and go away. In this way, there is a rush in hospitals, and wheelchairs are parked everywhere. For this, they have implemented a good law that only if you submit your ID card, you will get a wheelchair. Meanwhile, you cannot take a wheelchair from there.

Similarly, free food is distributed here every day from 12 pm to 2 pm. This is a separate langar khana. If you are with your patient, the patient is inside, and you are outside, you can eat free food from here. Many people donate to the care of the patients, and they bring food here every day. Food is distributed here from 12 pm to 2 pm. People sit in the langar khana and eat their food very comfortably. In addition, some people take the food to every ward and every department. There, they prepare special food for the patients and take it to them so that their food can also be delivered to their beds.

If you want to buy tea, rice, bread, biscuits for the patient, or any soup, etc., you can easily get it from here. Their rates are a little higher than the rest, but you have been given the facility to buy all kinds of drinks, juices, etc., from here while staying inside the hospital.

There is an open arrangement for sitting here. Shade has also been arranged above so that you do not feel the heat. And if it is the rainy season, then the rain does not bother you while eating. In this way, fans have been installed here so that you do not feel too hot.

Furthermore, there is a separate ground here, which is like a park, where you can also sit and wait. Sometimes it happens that only one person is allowed to go inside the ward with the patient. The rest of the people wait outside, so you can sit here in the park. You will get an open space here.

Five daily prayers are offered here in congregation. If those who are with the patient want to offer prayers, they can offer prayers here easily because there is also an ablution facility here, so you do not have to face any kind of problem.

The architecture of this mosque is very beautiful. The mosque has been built with great dedication, with marble on top, and is beautiful. Just as this mosque is beautiful from the outside, this mosque is equally beautiful from the inside.

There is an open arrangement for parking here. You can park all types of vehicles here. There is a separate parking space for motorcycles. Similarly, there is a separate parking space for cars. Some places have been shaded so that you can park your vehicle under them. But because this is a famous hospital in the district, people from all over the district, even people from other districts, come here for treatment, so there is a lot of rush, due to which there is an open area where you can park your motorcycle.

Furthermore, your motorcycle or your car is given proper security because when you park your car, you get a slip from there on which your car number is written. When you come back, you have to give this slip. There are charges of 20 to 30 rupees for it. You have to pay it, and then you will be able to take out your motorcycle. You will see a lot of ambulances along the wall outside this hospital. These ambulances are private because when the patient is discharged, we bring the patient home. This ambulance is for them. If you want to take the patient in one of your ambulances, you can use them. In this way, a separate section has been created for them. There is a small counter next to the gate, where the number of each ambulance driver is available. You can get their numbers from this counter and call them.

Generally, people use their cars and take the patient to their home, but those who do not have their car use these ambulances and can easily take their patient safely.

So, when you go to these hospitals, you can see how worried people are. My aunt also had an operation. She had a problem with her intestines, due to which she was admitted here. We came here with her. We were admitted here for about 10 to 15 days. She had an operation. Then, after the operation, they discharged us after three to four days.
