Farewell Moments with Our Goat – A Blessed Sacrifice
Assalamu Alaikum I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives as you know it is Eid-ul-Adha and on this occasion all the Muslim brothers are sacrificing some goats some camels some cows so similarly we are also going to sacrifice a goat these are some of the last moments that we are spending with our goat.
In Pakistan, approximately 9 million animals are sacrificed on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, which every Muslim sacrifices according to their fortune and status.
Here are some of my photos that I captured after praying Eid, because in about half an hour we will sacrifice our goat and fulfill our Sunnah of sacrifice.
According to my point of view, the real fun of sacrificing comes when we buy our animal some time in advance and take good care of it. I say that we should buy our animal for sacrifice about two months in advance and then take good care of it so that when we sacrifice it in the path of Allah, our emotions are out of control. Then the real fun of sacrifice comes because Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) have put this same sacrifice and this same emotion in front of us.
I hope that all friends have slaughtered their sacrificial animals with their own hands and have received the full reward. I pray to Allah Almighty that Allah Almighty may grant us all the ability to fulfill this Sunnah of sacrifice in the coming year as well. May Allah Almighty enable those who are not able to do so to fulfill this Sunnah.
