The Beauty of Sacrifice: Our Visit to the Goat Market for Eid

I hope all my friends are well and enjoying their lives. As you know, Eid-ul-Adha is approaching, and on this Eid-ul-Adha, Muslims sacrifice and fulfill the Sunnah of the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon them). So, in the same vein, we also reached the goat market to make our sacrifice, from where we had to buy a goat for ourselves.

Like every year, this time too we had to buy a goat, so we started looking for it a long time ago, but due to some busy schedule, we were unable to buy it. This is the first time that we are buying any animal so close to Eid. Earlier, we usually bought it from a friend three months in advance and served it well so that we have a greater attachment to it, and with this attachment, when it is sacrificed, then its real pleasure comes.

We saw goats in different places in our village, but we didn't like any of them. Finally, we reached the market near us, where there is a market every Sunday, and different animals are sold there. That's why we reached this market and saw that people were buying their animals with great interest, while some people were selling their animals. In this struggle, we also entered the goat market.

We checked out a lot of animals there, but we didn't like any of them, so we moved further because other different goats were standing there, so we started exploring from there.

Finally, we saw a goat that was very beautiful, completely white, and had blue eyes. This was the only goat that could be recognized from a distance because all the other goats were of different colors, some were brown, some were black, some were mixed colors, but this was the only goat that had the same color, red, and it was white. So, just seeing it made us happy, so we decided to buy this goat.

We have made many sacrifices before, but this is the first time that we have seen such a beautiful goat because most of the goats are from Rajasthan and they are not found in our area. If someone wants to get a special one, they go to the Multan side and buy such goats, but it was our luck that we found it here.

Since in the goat market we have to fix the rate according to our calculations, there is some demand from the seller and some demand from the buyer. In this way, they talk to each other, and when their matter is settled at a certain rate, then that thing is sold. Similarly, we also discussed a lot with them here, and after discussing, they finally agreed to give us this goat for 72 thousand.

Our uncle also went with us. He also wanted to buy a goat for himself, so we found one for him. In this way, we bought a total of three goats, and after buying these goats, we put them in a rickshaw and brought them to our respective homes.

Thus, we bought this animal for our sacrifice. We pray to Allah Almighty that He may accept our sacrifice in His Supreme Court and grant us the ability to fulfill this Sunnah in the future so that we may stand first in such emotional matters.
