1 Picture 1 Story Week #84

Assalamualaikum my fellows I hope you will be fine by the grace of Allah. Today I am going to participate in the contest by @suboohi. It is about 1 picture 1 story.

The story revolves around the 100 rupees per plate biryani. Yes you have heard it right that biryani only costs 100 Pakistani rupees per plate. And to your wonderful it is a chicken biryani.

I visited Okara city for some work. I went in the morning and due to a lot of travelling it was the noon time. After completing my work I was coming back to home. I was feeling tired and hungry. I was craving to eat something to end my hunger pangs.

On the way I saw a stall offering biryani. It was deegi chicken biryani. There was a rush of people eating the biryani from that place. I stopped there with curiosity after seeing the price tag of this biryani per plate. It was unbelievable that they were giving chicken biryani for only 100 rupees.

There were the arrangements of tables and chairs. I sat on the table and asked for a biryani. He provided me a glass of water and then he brought a full.plste of biryani with raita and salad. Can you believe that I got a plate of chicken biryani, raita and salad for just 100 rupees.

So now let us talk about the taste and quality of the chicken biryani. I got the first bite mixing with raita and with the topping of salad. It was good in taste. There were chicken pieces as well. I deed they were not bigger in size but smaller. But the taste of the chicken biryani was good it was worth eating in such a good price.

According to the price of the plate of chicken biryani it was reasonable to buy and eat. I often consider it a good thing supporting these small sellers instead of the higher businesses. Because the small shopkeepers are working hard to make both ends meet to feed their families and bringing up their children instead of taking huge profit margins just like the big shops.
