The Diary Game - World Cleanup Day (WCD) 2025
Hello Steemit friends, good morning and best wishes to all Steemians. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share my daily activities on this happy day.
Alhamdulillah Thank God, I was able to wake up before dawn this weekend and perform the morning prayer in congregation. Unlike civil servants in other government offices, for us teaching staff in the education sector, especially schools, Saturday weekends continue to carry out our teaching duties as usual. Therefore, I still left for school at almost 7 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. Every Saturday, as usual, the streets I take on my way to work are often deserted of morning activity. Only a few parents were seen dropping their children off at school, and the general public had already begun their daily activities. It didn't take long for me to arrive at one of my favorite coffee shops not far from the school.
I stopped for a moment at Lom Kupi, not far from school, to enjoy a cup of black coffee. Although I was scheduled to teach in person during the first period after the bell, I made the most of the time by checking out the latest information through various online media. Today's sophisticated digital technology makes it so easy to access information quickly in a matter of seconds. A moment later, I left the coffee shop and headed straight to school. Arriving at the lush, shady schoolyard, I parked my vehicle in the designated spot. Then, be sure to fill in my fingerprint attendance form, which signified my punctual attendance.
Shortly after the bell rang, signaling the start of class, I headed to the 11th-grade classroom to carry out my teaching duties. Two hours passed quickly, and I left the classroom for a brief break when the bell rang for the next class. Last Saturday was World Cleanup Day (WCD) 2025, and across the country, Gotong Royong was held to protect the Earth, towards a waste-free Indonesia. Welcoming WCD at the school, we also had a gotong royong program to clean up trash. As the call to prayer approached midday, I headed to the Al Mabrur Mosque to perform the Dhuhr prayer in congregation. Afterward, I picked up Raffa from school and took him home.
Then I returned to school to fill in my fingerprint attendance form. Then I went home and rested until the afternoon, waking up and playing with Raffa in the yard. After performing the Asr prayer in congregation at the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque, I briefly left the house with my son and went to one of our favorite coffee shops in the Cunda area. I relaxed with Raffa while enjoying a cup of black coffee. It wasn't until sunset that I left the coffee shop and returned home. That evening, I stayed home, playing with Raffa until bedtime.
