Pakistan and Progress

Pakistan and Progress
Pakistan is a strong country, but it is not as strong as it should be. It is the only atomic power among all Islamic countries in the world, but in the field of progress, it always scores lower than expectations. So in this post, not only in this paragraph, I will share some main points that how Pakistan can make progress. Some of them are quite practical without investing money. So our first step is the reform in governance and institutional policies. Because the government is the main power hub in any country. And if the government of that country, of that particular country, is not so strong, then no country can make progress. Therefore, our government should be strong, and it should implement new policies. Right now, there have been many cases of corruption where people commit corruption, especially hire officers. But many policies, in the past, have brought changes to their mind. And the first policy was the introduction of the merit system in Pakistan because this system is followed by able people, the people who can get specific posts in the government. And then with their honesty and hard work, they make the country progressive rather than keeping that corrupt. In this regard, rules and laws, and civil services reforms are most essential. The second step we should take in economic development is to introduce industrial policies and to reform a new system of taxation for the people. And the government should also introduce a resource of renewable source of energy so that the industries could run seven days a week. In industrial policies, the government should introduce new IT sectors, surgical goods, textiles, and government should introduce an easy way to get tax from industries. Small industries should be supported by tax reform and concessions, and hydroelectric, wind, and solar energy should be provided to them for many. Education is the most important pillar of a nation, not a pillar of democracy. Because education provides people with awareness and it improves technical and vocational knowledge, which leads to discoveries and inventions, and after selling these discoveries and inventions in other countries, it makes a lot of progress. This is the reason that European countries are much more progressive as compared to Asian countries because many European countries keep on discovering more and more new things, and they sell their research to other countries of the world, and they earn good money in this regard. Healthcare reforms and agriculture reforms are most important. But another most important is our mineral natural resources. You know what? Pakistan has the world's second-largest salt mine. But multiple reports show that our salt is not used effectively. Export salt to many countries like India, and our cost of imporsalt andltand exporting salt is very low; therefore, we are not getting enough benefit from this natural resource. One last thing that I want to discuss is our cultural variety. Pakistan is a vast country, and it has five provinces. Each province has its own culture, heritage, tradition, and festivals. If government promote this, then our country can make progress for day and night and night for day. And believe me, the last two steps, the ones I talked about, are natural resources and the second is cultural variety. If the government pays heed to these two pillars, then our country can make progress without spending money on infrastructure.
