The Diarygame [26-07-2025] a day well spent in the heart of my village.
MORNING ACTIVITIES
AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES , Afternoon Preparations and Local Delights
The morning pass by peacefully, and I used the time to rest, conserving my energy for the day's tasks. As the afternoon sun began its gentle descent, I headed out to start preparing corn for drying.
This is a practice we've held onto for generations, a reliable way to preserve our harvest for the coming season. I carefully shelled the corn,. While some was set aside for drying in our local kitchen [a clever method we use for natural air circulation], I couldn't resist roasting a few corn, along with some pears, for my own enjoyment. The sweet, smoky aroma filled the air , a delightful prelude to the eveningEVENING ACTIVITIES, Evening Meal and Unexpected Darkness
As dusk began to settle, at about 6:00 PM, my thoughts turned to dinner. I decided on snails, a local delicacy, which I began to prepare with care.
The fire in our local kitchen crackled merrily as I set a pot of rice to boil The rich, earthy smells mingled, promising a delicious meal. I was bustling about, immersed in the humm of cooking
suddenly, my phone went dead. It was a real bummer, as I had hoped to capture more of the evening's activities and share them.
Despite the sudden darkness, the evening wasn't ruined. My family gathered around, and we shared some truly good moments, talking and laughing as we enjoyed our dinner by the warm glow of a lantern. The food tasted even better, seasoned with the joy of shared company. Later, around 11:00 pm, a small miracle occurred - NEPA light flickered on, It was only for about 15 to 20 minutes, but it was enough. I quickly seized the opportunity, rushing to post my content on the Steemit platform before the power inevitably vanished again. As soon as the light went off, I felt sleep pulling at me, a comforting tiredness after a fulfilling day. and I slept off.
Thank you all for reading my post.
