BACK IN GEAR

Its been two days since I got problem with my car break. And since I still got work, I cant go to the shop whos owner is the friend of my hubby. On weekends, I immediately go to their shop which is located in Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City.

He named his shop as Gilban Car Clinic. Gilban is the name of the owner, and he is one of my hubby's schoolmate, and neighboor. What made them friends is that they worked in Japan for 5 years in the same company. So they had luxury of time to bond. He started his shop more or less 4 years already. He has an idea about fixing car because its his course and he was able to work in a car company before he worked abroad.

After 3 days of waiting, my car is finally back in gear. Everything was now restored, my brake, the aircon filter, the gas cap and the leaking underneath the car that makes him do change oil. Seeing it back in gear made me feel a sense of relief and satisfaction. It reminded me that our vehicle is somehow us also needs rest, care, maintainance and time to recover.

The repair process was really not easy. You had to invest your time as you check the car and of course money to buy all the stuff needed plus their labor. They didnt change immediately my master test instead he is run some test like cleaning the brake, do some drive test until we finally decided to change the master break for everyone's safety. My mother also dont wanted to let me use the car anymore unless it will be 100% fixed.

After the car was fixed, it really made me feel relieve and is worth the wait. The mechanic's skills made my defected car into smooth-running machine once again. Driving it once again after it was fixed made me feel different. I was about to regain the control, confidence and rhythm as I hold the steering wheel and step the brake.

Back in gear made me feel a fresh start. Like us, we too sometimes experienced some breakdown, but with time and perseverance we can regain our strength and find our way back on the road and keep moving forward.
