Assalamu Alaikum dear friends,
I hope you all are doing great. Alhamdulillah, I’m fine too.
Today, I’m very happy because I’m taking part in the amazing Season 25 – Food Diaries, Reviews & Adventures contest by respected @artist1111. This is my first time, and I’m excited to share a few moments and meals from a special day with family friends.
Desi Food & Home Gathering with Family Friends
That day was really beautiful. We invited a few close family friends. Everyone brought something, and we all enjoyed homemade food together—sitting on the floor, chatting, laughing.
This dish (Painda) was the main star: soft homemade tandoori roti, cut into pieces and mixed with meat, potatoes, green chilies, tomatoes, coriander, and cucumber. The spices were strong and tasty, just right. Served in a clay bowl, it felt extra traditional.
On the side, we had fresh salad, mint raita, and crispy pakoras. The smell was mouthwatering—and we were all hungry before even sitting down!
Fast Food Break – Zinger Burgers & Fries
A few days later, I went out with my cousins for a little outing. We walked in the market and someone suggested, “Let’s eat something!” So we went to KFC and ordered zinger burgers, fries, and Pepsi. Fast food tastes extra good when you’re with loved ones!
BBQ Night & Mutton Curry Love
We had a BBQ night at home. We grilled tender beef cubes over charcoal. The fire sizzled and smoky aroma filled the air—everyone was just standing nearby to breathe it in.
We also made spicy mutton curry, served with onion rings, lemon slices, green chilies, and mint chutney. Everyone ate quietly—because the food was that good.
Chicken Steak Platter with Fries
One evening, I tried something different: a sizzling chicken steak platter with creamy white sauce and fries. The sound was “tsssss” when it arrived. Smooth, creamy, not spicy—perfect for a winter night.
Pizza Party at Home – With Mehndi & Smiles
We had a pizza party at home. Stuffed crust, chicken, jalapenos, olives, and white sauce. Everyone had mehndi on their hands. It wasn’t a celebration, but it felt like one.
Thin Crust Pizza Outing
Another night, we enjoyed thin crust pizza outside. The environment was peaceful, and food tasted even better.
Biryani + Kabab + Karahi = Feast!
At a restaurant, we ordered seekh kababs, biryani, and karahi. Everything was hot and tasty. A perfect combo. The kababs were juicy, and the biryani was full of flavor.
Final Thoughts – Food & Blessings
I feel thankful for these memories. Food brings joy, but sharing brings blessings.
“He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.” – Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Let’s share our food with others. Feed the poor. Care for the hungry. Food is love. Never waste it.
Thank you for reading my post!
I hope you liked it. Please comment which dish you liked the most.
