1 Picture 1 Story Week #89
I hope you all are doing well. I am new here and very happy to take part in the “One Picture, One Story Week #89” contest by @suboohi. Today, I want to share a picture that is very close to my heart. This picture is not just a memory it is the story of my son Muhammad Maaz.
This picture was taken on Maaz’s first birthday. At first, it may look like a normal birthday photo, but the truth behind it is full of pain, patience, and prayers.
On this day, Maaz had just come back from the hospital after having a surgery. In the picture, it seems like Maaz is sitting by himself, but he was actually weak and his uncle was supporting him from behind so he could sit up for the photo.

When Maaz was born, the doctors told us something very painful. They said that Maaz was not a normal baby and that he may not survive or live a healthy life. These words broke our hearts. My mother, who loved Maaz a lot, cried a lot but we didn’t give up. We put all our trust in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and kept praying.
When Maaz turned two and a half years old, he started feeling pain in his belly. The doctors said he needed three surgeries. That time was very hard for us, especially for me as a mother. Later, we also found out that Maaz could not walk or speak properly. His father and I stayed strong and full of hope, but inside our hearts, we were very worried.
One day, I took him to a neurologist (brain doctor). He did some tests and told us that Maaz had muscle and brain problems, which is why he couldn’t walk or talk. The doctor gave some medicines and we started giving him regular treatment and care.
Now Maaz is 10 years old. Alhamdulillah, he is much better. He tries to say “Mama”, “Baba”, and even says the name of his younger sister, Mannat, who is 6 years old. He is learning to walk and eat with his own hands, even though it is still difficult for him. He also has mild blood pressure issues, but he is stronger now than ever before.
Sometimes I feel sad because Maaz cannot play like other children. He has no friends and no one to talk to. But then I remind myself that he is a brave child and every small step he takes is a big success for us. My mother and brother have helped me a lot in this journey. Their love and support gave me strength.
So, my dear Steemit friends, this picture is not just a birthday photo it is the beginning of a long and emotional journey. A journey of a special child and his mother, full of tears, prayers, hope, and love.
Thank you for reading our story. I will also share a recent photo of Maaz below. He is now 10 years old and still trying his best every single day.I hoped you liked my post, take care Allah Hafiz.

Hello friend, I am really glad that Maaz survived all these rough times, all the troubles through the way was so hectic, I am sure that you had sleepless nights because of Maaz but we thank god that he is now healthy and learning how to talk, including no brain problems. The birth of Maaz shows that anything is possible with Allah, keep praying and stay strong and I wish him happy birthday in advance, good health and graces from Allah.
Hello friend, thank you so much for encouraging me.It is not a story but a struggle of a mother. Please pray for Maaz that he is able to survive in the society.
