"My Eid Al Adha 2025" .
Hi friends and my steemit community members,I am a new member of this Fabolous family.I seek a lot of things from this plate form.Today I am here to participate a great and interesting contest which is arranged by
@abdullahw2.Although I am new but I try my level best to follow the rules .
How did you celebrate the first day of Eid Al Adha 2025? (Briefly describe your day with pictures.)
Dear Steemians, I am a housewife and had a huge family that's why I had a lot of works on Eid day .I try to done my half works one-day ago.For example ,I boiled chickpeas and potatoes for Chana Chaat. I also cut the potatoes. After that, I put out the children's new clothes. I washed the entire house, including the kitchen. And then after praying at 3:30 in the morning, I slept.
I woke up again at about 5:30 in the morning on Eid. And first, I cut the fruits for the fruit chaat. Then I mixed it and kept it in the refrigerator. After that, it was time for Chana Chaat, which I had prepared half of the night before. I also kept it in the refrigerator for a while.
After that, I cleaned the house because one of my brother-in-law's family lives in another city, so they had to come to our house for the sacrifice. By that time, all the men had woken up. I quickly put the dishes and made the kheer and chaat. The Eid prayer time had come and all the men got ready and after eating kheer, they left for the mosque.
My children, Mannat and Maaz, had both of them ready by the time our guests arrived. The whole day was spent cooking and then wrapping the meat. My sisters-in-law also kept working with me, but she was sick, so I had to do the running around. I even made two big pots of mint and lemon water for the butcher and his companions. Since I add black pepper and black salt to it, it became very delicious. The heat from above was at its peak.
Did you offer Qurbani (sacrifice)? If yes, what animal? Don't forget to share a picture of your animal.
Yes, Alhamdulillah, we sacrificed a calf, since my husband has four brothers, so all four brothers sacrificed together. I belong to a landowner family, so our sacrificial animal came from our farmhouse, which is outside Sargodha city.
We live in Sargodha city. Our calf was very dear, my son Maaz became very attached to it. While my daughter, who is five years old, ran to her grandfather's house out of fear. I am posting a picture of my calf, I hope you will like it too.
What are your favourite dishes to prepare and enjoy during the Eid days?
First of all, I made two types of chaats, chana chaat and fruit chaat, because people in our family do not have breakfast on Eid, so after offering prayers, everyone comes and enjoys these things. This time on Eid, in the morning, I made chana chaat, fruit chaat, and kheer. There were cold drinks with it, which most of the children drank. And the adults drank tea.
After that, goat meat came from our relatives' house. Since everyone was hungry, my sister-in-law quickly prepared a curry and I made rotis and salad. Our calf was still late in being slaughtered. The butcher came for a while. And my race started. Sometimes I think that the one who sits and makes a pot is in profit. And for people like me, nothing but fatigue comes.

Anyway, friends, we have made many dishes. Liver, salted meat and rice too. I eat everything, but I'm more fond of sweets, so pudding is my favorite dish.On the second day of Eid, I made roasted meat and then had a barbecue in the evening. This time, we made kebabs on a tawa instead of a charcoal grill.

On the third day of Eid, I made mincemeat. On the second and third days, there were fewer dishes because the men of the house had parties at their friends' houses.
How important is to distribute sacrificial meat among other people?
Dear friends, as a Muslim and as a follower of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), sacrifice is in our blood. Eid-ul-Adha is a day that not only reminds us of the Sunnah of Abraham but also erases the gap between the rich and the poor. The distribution of sacrificial meat is necessary to alleviate the shortage of many deserving people who cannot afford meat throughout the year. Sacrificial meat is not only distributed to the deserving people but also among relatives, which increases love and unity and creates an atmosphere of peace and balance in the society.
