War is a very bad thing that I would not like to experience. It affects everyone, but adults and children. During war, you will lose many people, your loved ones, and some people will lose their whole family.

During war, we lack access to many things like food, water, and even good health.
And this affects children because they might end up losing their parents, stop going to school, and also stop receiving good treatment from their parents.

So war can affect the lives of ordinary people in the following ways.

1. Loss of life: war also results in loss of lives, especially the loved ones, family, and friends.

2. Lack of homes: During war, many homes will be destroyed, and this will lead to a lack of homes, especially for ordinary people.

3. It might cause serious health issues: exposure to bombs will cause many people to have ear problems.

The Biafran Civil War (1967-1970) in Nigeria had a significant impact on the country and the world. The war was fought between the government of Nigeria and the secessionist state of Biafra, which was made up of the Igbo people.

The war was caused by ethnic tension, political factors, and other economic factors.
The war resulted in many crises, such as the destruction of homes, famine, and the killing of innocent children. The war also drew attention to many things, including human rights and humanitarian law.
During this period, houses and property were damaged.

How can we keep ourselves safe during the wars?

We can keep our self save during war by going through social media and listening to news, before war will start the countries that what to start the war will announce it on time, so if you are in social media, you can hear that war is going to start next week, hearing this you can pick all your valuable items and your family to another country.

We can also keep ourselves safe during war by covering our ears. Sometimes, like children who experience war, they will end up not hearing again, so we should always cover our ears due to bombs.

How can we stop wars and promote peace among the nations?

Peace is very important, because when we are at peace with everyone, there will be no war. Let me take Nigeria as a case study. In Nigeria, we have three major ethics groups, which include Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa.
This three ethics group make up Nigeria, but they don't see their self as one, you will see an Igbo person calling an Hausa person all kinds of bad names, there is love that shows that we are one Nigeria, we can promote peace by loving ourselves, caring for one another, knowing that all of us are one.
