Salimullah Road Playground, Mohammadpur, Dhaka

To participate in today's contest, I have chosen one of my favorite places Salimullah Road Playground. Since I live on Salimullah Road in Mohammadpur, I spend time in this playground almost every day. Sometimes in the soft afternoon sun, sometimes in the night breeze, it is my daily habit to sit here. Whenever I feel bored or sad at home, I go out and visit this green playground. Sitting here, chatting with friends, reading a book alone, or just enjoying nature in silence everything is possible. So today I have come to share a review of this small yet lively place.

Salimullah Road Playground is located on Salimullah Road in Mohammadpur. Since my house is on this road, I can easily walk to the playground. However, it is also very easy for those who come from far away to reach here. If you take a rickshaw from Asadgate, it will take you directly to this playground for just 40 taka. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Asadgate and get off at the Salimullah Road intersection, from where it is a 2-3 minute walk to the playground. On the other hand, you can also get a rickshaw directly from Mohammadpur bus stand, the fare is only 30 taka. All in all, reaching this playground is completely hassle-free and easy.

I come to sit in this field almost every afternoon. Sometimes I also play a little sport, because many people, young and old, play football and cricket in groups here. Especially in winter, badminton is a special joy, when some groups organize games together. I usually go to the field to improve my mood, but sometimes I don't even take part in cricket games.

Yesterday afternoon, I saw a few boys playing football. Since the field is open, anyone can come and play here. What I like most is the big trees around the field. Sitting under the trees is absolutely soothing. Especially after ten o'clock at night, the atmosphere becomes different the sound of cars stops and the surroundings become completely silent. It is really nice to sit then.

There are rows of big trees around the entire field, which makes the place more lively and shady. A beautiful path has been created around the field for walking. Many people walk here every afternoon or morning, and when they are tired, they sit down and rest. There is also a place to sit, so you can enjoy the fresh air while sitting in the shade of the trees. The combination of open fields, green trees and the coolness of the air has created a calm atmosphere in the midst of the busy city. So when you come here, your mind naturally becomes refreshed.

A bhelpuri and fuchka seller sits in a corner of the field every day. He prepares his food from morning till night. Although I don't really like eating these, I have never tasted bhelpuri or fuchka. However, many people from the neighborhood regularly come to him. They say that the taste of bhelpuri is quite delicious. Especially children and young people like to come in groups and eat it. He sells each piece of bhelpuri for just 10 taka and 2 pieces of fuchka for 10 taka. Many are happy to get such delicious food at a low price. This is how he earns his living.

All in all, I really like this little place. Especially since there are big trees here, my level of liking it increases even more. I really enjoy spending time among greenery. So wherever I see some trees, I want to spend some time there. Since my house is on Salimullah Road and there is such a beautiful field next to my house, I can't breathe when I come here.

If any of you live around Mohammadpur, you can take the opportunity to visit here one day. Walking among the trees along the field is very pleasant. And sitting in the shade of big trees and spending time alone or chatting with friends is also much more enjoyable.
