Exploring Fatima Jinnah Park | F9 Islamabad
I hope you are all doing well and spending your days with peace and happiness Today I am very excited to share with you my visit to one of the most beautiful and well known parks in Islamabad Fatima Jinnah Park During my visit I captured several pictures to show you the different sides of this park and in this post I will take you on a tour of it step by step
History of the Park
Fatima Jinnah Park is one of the largest and most famous parks In Islamabad It was named after MOhtarma Fatima Jinnah the sister of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali JInnah who is known as the mother of the nation The park covers an area of around 750 acres and was opened to the public in the year 1992 The design of this park was prepared by a famous Japanese architect and It was built with the vision of creating a modern green space for the people of Pakistan Today it stands as a symbol of beauty nature and peace in the heart of the capItal
The Entrance Board
The first picture I captured was of the main board outside the park gate This board proudly displays the name of Fatima Jinnah Park reminding visitors that they are entering one of the most famous recreational spots of Islamabad The entrance itself creates a welcoming impression for everyone who comes here
The Parking Area
In the second picture I captured the large parking area This parking space is spacious enough to accommodate many vehicles at a time which makes it very convenient for families and visitors A well managed parking area is always a sign of good administration and here we can see that clearly
Park Guidelines Board
The guidelines board placed InsIde the park It hIghlIghts the Important InstructIons for vIsItors so that everyone can enjoy the environment while maIntaining discipline These rules ensure cleanliness safety and a pleasant atmosphere for famIlIesThe Specially Planted Trees
I captured two trees planted by distinguished personalities Mr Mammadov Javanshir Chief Engineer of Greening Farm Union of Baku City and Mrs Ahmedova Firuza Specialist in Landscape Architecture In front of these trees a board is installed with their names which adds a touch of honor and respect to the park

The Suggestion Box
This picture highlights the suggestion box This shows how the park administration values the opinions of visitors Anyone can write their feedback or suggestion and drop it in the box helping to improve the overall environment of the park
Dustbins for Cleanliness
I captured one of the dustbins placed around the park These dustbins are Installed at several points to ensure cleanliness A clean park always looks more beautiful and gives visitors a refreshing feelingThe Cricket Ground
This picture shows the cricket ground inside the park Currently due to seasonal conditions the grass has grown too much but soon the ground will be ready and visitors will enjoy playing cricket there This ground is a source of joy for sports lovers
The Family Pergola
I captured a family pergola This section is only allowed for families making it a private and peaceful spot inside the park At the entrance the guidelines are displayed clearly to ensure that the family friendly environment is maintained

Horse Riding Area
The horses are available InsIde the park Visitors can take rIdes on these horses guIded by the caretakers The rIde costs only 200 rupees which makes It a fun and affordable activity for both children and adultsThe Jogging Track
The joggIng track Is beautIfully designed making it an ideal place for fItness lovers Surrounded by greenery It offers a refreshing atmosphere for daily exerciseThe Footpaths
These footpaths are not only functIonal but also aesthetIcally pleasIng decorated wIth beautIful tuff tIles Walking on these paths gives a very calm and peaceful experIenceBagh e Shohada
I captured the special section known as Bagh e Shohada This part of the park is dedicated to Pakistan’s national heroes and martyrs Their names and sacrifices are remembered here making this place a symbol of pride and respect
The Directional Board
This is a directional board inside the park It guides visitors towards the cricket ground tennis court exit gates and other areas Such boards are very helpful in such a vast park to ensure that no one feels lostThe Benches

My Experience
My visit to Fatima Jinnah Park Islamabad was truly refreshing From the entrance to the cricket ground from horse rides to Bagh e Shohada every corner of the park has its own charm and beauty This park is not only a recreational spot but also a place of respect culture and family bonding I hope you enjoyed this little virtual tour with me If you ever visit Islamabad I highly recommend spending some time in this park you will surely love it
