🇵🇰 A Crazy But Fun 14th August Party (One Day Early!) 🎂
Hey everyone! Today was one of those "superhero meets emergency mode" kind of days packed with last minute cake disasters, Photoshop panic and balloon battles. But in the end, we pulled off an early Independence Day celebration with lots of love (and a little chaos). Here is how it went down:
A Late Start to the Day :
Woke up 5 minutes late (because of course) threw on my Superman style outfit chugged my drink and dashed outside only to face my next challenge.
The Car Trouble Saga (drun drun):
My bike refused to start petrol was low (my bad habit of filling "thora sa petrol"). Then I remembered my "princess" (aka my car) sitting in the garage. Grabbed the keys, revved her up, and zoomed off like a mission in progress.
Bakery Disaster 🎂:
Rushed to the bakery to order a custom 14th August cake but they shut me down "Too many orders no time for custom designs!" Heartbreak. Left with a frustrated sigh and a backup plan forming in my head.
Quick Class & Cake Crisis :
Stopped at Qurtaba for a quick class but my mind was on cake mode. Saw the plain cake they arranged and thought "Nah this would not do." Sprint walked to get printed logos to jazz it up because Pakistans Independence Day deserves more than just "Happy 14th August" in basic font!
Balloon Chaos
Tried decorating, but the fan had other plans. Balloons kept flying everywhere, popping, tangling it was like a party war zone. At one point, I just stood there laughing at the madness.
Photoshop Hustle ;
With no time to waste I quick learned some Photoshop & Illustrator to tweak the designs. Added Pakistan flags, crescent moons and "Pakistan Zindabad" because effort matters.
Pre Independence Day Celebration 🇵🇰:
Since 14th August was a holiday we celebrated a day early! Wrote a heartfelt note about what this day means:
"14th August is not just a date it is the day our forefathers fought for freedom sacrificed everything and gave us a homeland where we could dream, thrive and stand tall. Pakistan is more than a country; it is an emotion a legacy of courage and a promise to keep moving forward."
And of course, no Independence Day post is complete without a Quaid e Azam quote:
"With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve."— Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Cake Time & Photos 📸:
Finally CAKE TIME! Cut the cake, took a million pictures (because memories) and devoured it like we hadn’t eaten in days. Then, as always, the classic "Alright, time to go home" moment hit, and we wrapped up.
