The Diary Game||22|06|2025|| The reality of a joyful afternoon and buying a SIM.

Yesterday started out quite normally, but towards the end, a little peace left its mark on my mind towards the afternoon. In the afternoon, I was lazily lying on my bed, pressing the phone, but suddenly my phone rang. I saw the name of a close friend of mine on the screen. As soon as I picked it up, he said in an enthusiastic voice from the other side, “Shall we come out? Shall we go for a walk? Let’s take a walk from Mirpur 10”

My body was filled with laziness from staying in the room all day, my mind was already a little tired, and I was feeling bored from sitting at home all day. So without thinking much, I agreed. I went out with the intention of walking a little and spending some time.

After walking for some distance, I met my friend at the crossroads. As soon as we met, he said, “I want to buy a Teletalk SIM, will you come with me for a while?” I said, what else do I have to say? “Let’s go.” We both started walking. Our destination was the Teletalk Customer Care Center in Mirpur, adjacent to the Bangladesh National Cricket Stadium. Because we could get the SIM we wanted there. We wanted to buy the Teletalk Alphabet SIM. I thought I would share a picture of the stadium with you. Compared to before, the environment outside the stadium seemed much more beautiful to me. So we spent some time standing there.

Since the Teletalk Customer Center was a little inside the stadium, I was enjoying the surrounding environment while walking along the road. Since it was afternoon, the sun’s brightness had decreased a little, and a slight coolness had mixed in the air. While walking on the street, I was talking to my friend about various things, old memories, funny incidents, future plans...... It was as if each word was flowing automatically to the rhythm of my walking.

Thus we reached the Teletalk office. However, when we went to the Teletalk office, we got some bad news, the customer care was closed. It is open until 5 pm, but by the time we reached there, it was 5:30 pm. Even though our friend looked a little disappointed, we didn't give it much importance. We decided to try somewhere else.

Then we walked along the main road and caught a bus, our destination was Mirpur 1. It was a little crowded when we got on the bus, but we still pushed the crowd and got on the bus. In a while, we reached Mirpur 1.

Upon reaching Mirpur 1, we entered a small mobile SIM selling shop. It was a Teletalk service point. Although the shop was small, it was quite tidy inside. We found a Teletalk SIM there but we didn't find the Barnomala SIM there. There was a SIM with the name Swadhin. We had no choice but to buy it. We chose a SIM number and asked to register this SIM. Then the shopkeeper checked our documents, then registration, all this took a while. Finally, the friend got his desired SIM.

After everything was over, we started walking again. The rhythm of walking, amidst the shops on the side of the road, the hustle and bustle of people, seemed to slowly lighten my mind. At one point, we started walking home. Without any big plan, the sudden little walk made me feel quite cheerful. Sometimes, that is what is needed.
